Bad Florida Legislation (Follow Up)

‘There is a Very Bad piece of legislation pending in the Florida Legislature it is Senate Bill 1992. It affects everyone who operates a vehicle not just motorcycle riders. Even if you agree with part of the bill Please examine all of it. This is Not Good For Florida Motorist and Motorcyclist. It is very long and covers a multitude of issues. I am sure you will find at least one that you do not agree with. You can find the bill HERE
I am requesting you contact your legislator and request they Vote No on this bill if it makes it to the Senate Floor. Please let others know about this as well. THANK YOU!” Rogue’. (Sturgis Freedom Fighters. Motorcycle Hall Of Fame Member 2005. www.bikerrogue.com).

Is there such a thing as good legislation?…When you have a bunch of fools who just want to make laws in order to keep their jobs this is what happens.
Lawmakers ought to be selected like jurrors and sent to state capitals and washington for maybe a 2 year term, paid well and then after their term is up they have to return home for a minimum term to live with the people they served and screwed.

One of the reasons that people have a problem with ABATE of Florida is that they have not been telling the whole story when presenting their agenda.
This is done by many Indivuals and Organizations. But that does not make it right.
It is understandable that ABATE and others want a motorcycle enhancement bill passed. For the record So Do I. The question is what are people willing to give up to see that happen? The enhancement is part of Florida Senate Bill 1992. This bill still has numerous other questionable issues. One issue is the increasing of motorcycle licensing fees. The bill says the increase is to finance driver education in schools. My question has been for some time what has happened to the money that is already a part of licenses and registrations already being collected Specifically For that Purpose? If the increased fees are to stay in the bill there needs to be an addition that states the money can not be used for any other purpose.
In these financially hard times for much of society it is quite noticeable that the State of Florida is cutting spending and looking for ways to increase their income. DUH! The motorcycle riders of Florida must look like a source to them.
The following is a message I received pertaining to ABATE of Florida Not Being Completely Honest with their chapter Presidents.

Unfortunately at the last state ABATE of Florida meeting a 4 page document was handed out to its members which outlined the basic items of SB802. It was not explained that the document that they were provided was not a complete bill.
I forwarded a copy of this handout to RC. What was pointed out to the members was that the “confiscation” of your motorcycle was omitted, the speed was increased to 50 mph over the limit, progressive fines for offenders, and then the ultimate “stiffer penalties” addition. Honestly I do not believe that anyone in the room thought there was more than what was presented to them. If all of those present in the room had not taken what was said in the meeting as gospel and researched the bill in its entirety thay would have had their eyes opened. The saddest part, this is the second time that additional fees have been added to motorcyclist’s licenses or tags which was not brought to the attention of its members. There is so much more to the bill which I am sure that ABATE members are unaware of. White Sands Chapter members are being informed about this bill in its complete form as posted.
If there is any information concerning this bill that you would like to forward to me, please feel free to do so. All information is being disseminated to our memebers in an attempt to keep them informed. We are asking that they contact their representitive, but since Patronis voted in favor of HB137, I doubt he will even listen to us at this juncture of SB1992, but we are sending the letters and making the calls.
Thank you all for keeping up the fight for our rights. Diana L. Woods, White Sands Chapter President. ABATE of Florida,

The freedoms of all of us are under attack once again! The criminal, Traitor Senator Frank Lautenberg introduced Senate bill 1237
    Read the bill here: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=s110-1237
This bill gives the atty general the authority to ban ownership or purchase of a firearm based on your affiliations and thoughts. If you have openly questioned the govt or its activities you are labeled a domestic terrorist. went to an anti-war protest? You are a Domestic terrorist! Refuse to show your new RFID chipped National ID which becomes law on May 1, 2008? you wont be allowed to buy or sell or work and you will be labeled a Domestic Terrorist! No proof, No jury, No trial, just the Govts allegations. And get this, if you sue them for violating your god given and constitutional rights, they can withhold ALL info relating to your being labeled a domestic terrorist in the issue of National Security. So in short, you have no legal remedy or recourse to the govt’s allegations. This is the LINE IN THE SAND! Mine is drawn. Call the senators, call the criminal congress and tell them we arent standing for another rights grab by this rogue criminal element of Govt.
In case you didnt know, Under the Patriot act, Military seditions act, and the John Warner defense act, any american citizen can be kidnapped, tortured, stripped of citizenship and executed by our criminal govt based on allegations! NO trial, No Due Process, No jury just summary execution by your lovely govt thugs based on an allegation. THIS IS Currently LEGAL! Just read the Bills! If you haven’t read the above mentioned bills for yourself and are dismissing this as paranoid rantings, dont say you werent warned! when you wake up homeless in the street or are escorted to a FEMA execution camp! Remember ignorance is NO excuse! READ THE BILLS! The Germans didnt realize that Hitler was slaughtering them until millions were in the camps and it was too late! The same is happening here. WAKE UP!
I have several generations of family members that have served and died fighting for this country and ALL of our freedoms. ENOUGH! is ENOUGH! Barrage the congress and tell them to block this Bill S-1237, repeal the patriot act, military seditions act and the John Warner Defense act and then impeach the rogue criminals in the executive branch starting with BUSH and CHENEY. We cant let this bill pass or the freedoms we once enjoyed are truly GONE FOREVER!
WAKE UP! this is the Last chance!
May God Bless all of us in this trying time!

    The Revolution is Here!
    Be Part Of It!

Florida’s Controversial Senate Bill 1992 passed on April 23, 2008. It does include the Stiffer Penalties wording for injuring or killing a motorcyclist. This is Great News and the first such bill in the country. It was part of a compromise bill that includes numerous other issues that are unfavorable to many though. Before the bill becomes law it’s counterpart in the Florida House must be passed and the bill signed by the Governor. This is expected to Happen. Rogue. Sturgis Freedom Fighters.
