If you go to Sturgis, visit Michael Lichter’s Motorcycle-As-Art Exhibit called “Stay Gold”. From August 1 to 8, 9AM to 7 PM you will be able to visit this exhibition focusing on garage builders and artists who maybe haven’t seen much or any of the limelight but still produce breathtakingly detailed work in the same spirit as the late Johnny Chop. Over 20 custom bike builders and a dozen artists are featured. Builders include: Keith Ball, Duane Ballard, Kevin Baas and the Kennedy High Chopper Class, Ryan Boyd, Chopper Dave, Jeff Decker, Phil Dzeicwechdick, Steve English, Tom Foster, Dave John, Ben Jordan, Fabricator Kevin and Jeff Huvaere, Kutty Noteboom, Caleb Owens, Nick Pew, Michael Pugliese, Jeffrey Schad, Bill Steele, Tattoo John Surprenant, Skeeter Todd, Anthony “Scout” Underwood, and Jeff Wright. A Johnny Chop custom bike will also be on display. Thunder Road is located 3 miles east of Sturgis on Highway 34. Thunder Road.
