Bruce Springsteen Auctions

After playing dozens of solo acoustic gigs for Barack Obama in the last few weeks of the presidential campaign, Bruce showed up last night at “Stand Up For Heroes” and let his Harley Davidson, a guitar he’d just played and his leather jacket be auctioned off for a very good cause. It was the second year in a row that ABC correspondent Bob Woodruff and his wife, Lee, raised money for injured troops returning from the Iraq war. Woodruff, as you may recall, was severely injured with Canadian cameraman Doug Vogt while covering the war near Baghdad on Jan. 29, 2006. He’s since recovered beautifully, as evidenced by his co-hosting duties last night at Town Hall at the star-studded event. The 3 items auctioned by Springsteen raised a total of $125,000.

    Great Cause.
    Great Man,

This is not related but he came here 3 or 4 years back and we flew from the other end of the country to see him. It was out doors and raining, we had no jackets with us. looked like it might not be too flash. Was already muddy!!
He starts singing “Who’ll stop the rain” ( by CCR) and the rain stopped. True Story. He has friends in very high places.

Thanks to Bruce ! A true American!!!

And Obama is NOT a true American. What’s wrong with this picture ???

Brock. Obama is a true american. You, you are not. Because a true american respects and support an elected President, whoever he is.

For now, we have a new president-elect. In the spirit of reaching across the aisle, we owe it to the Democrats to show their president the exact same kind of respect and loyalty that they have shown our recent Republican president

    B. Hussein Obama is his real name so when will we start calling him by his real name ?

  9. 9 Gil Nov 8th, 2008 at 10:50 am

Why is his name or any name important? You are a stupid prejudiced bitter republican. Obama is going the be the best president the US has ever had .. If you don’t like the democratic process, leave the country. Fast. We don’t need people like you in our great country..

  11. 11 Gil Nov 8th, 2008 at 10:58 am

No. You should know that whites, yellows, latinos voted for Obama. But you don’t know because you are dumb. Very dumb.

  12. 12 Gil Nov 8th, 2008 at 11:01 am

Fyi, Bush is still president, not former president. You are so dumb…
