A Wisconsin man will stand out at this year’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. Steve “Doc” Hopkins is riding his custom-made 10-seat Harley-Davidson 900 miles to the South Dakota Rally. The 24-foot-long very custom bike features seven different engines, some of which date back 100 years. “It’s like a rolling history of Harley Davidson’s engines since 1909 to present” Hopkins said. See him (them) getting started. Only in South Dakota…

I laughed heartily 🙂 especially when they all made that bat-turn to the left.
Looks like fun. I didn’t see anybody not smiling.
Thanks for the effort it took to build the “History-Glide” and put it on the road.
Well that’s got me grinnin’!
Hey kids! The circus is in town.
Wait till this fool takes up 10 bike parking spaces on Main St.
Too Cool,
This Guy needs a display of some sort on main street , not just a regular parking place.
You know it’s nice when someone does something unique and interesting and especially that makes sense and when all of those quality’s are useful…………… I count 1 out of 4 . What a waiste of time and energy, unless DOC’s LOADED with Dough, then it’s just a waiste of money !
bigalyts,
Where is your inane helmet comment on this?
Sweet idea! Makes parts-swapping on the road a snap! Gotta figure at least 4 of the 7 engines will make it across South Dakota…..
it takes a good mechanic to build a masterpeice like this so quit complaining good job doc
I figure when this Abortion comes down the Road, anyone on the Road will take off the other way so in this case the Rider is Safe without a Helmet ! I know you don’t wear one Greenwald, that okay: For You!
Au Contraire, bigalyts,
I’ve been known to don a chapeau plastique.
Knowing Doc for many years, I know this is not his first endevor nor will it be his last. I just hope I can get involved with some of his projects in the future.
