“Hildebrand” oil filters were extremely popular in the 50’s & 60’s and widely used on Trucks and Hot Rods. Several companies in the motorcycle industry re-designed them for use on motorcycles. LA County Choppers is the last one to offer a new version that they named “Honey Pot Oil Filter”. This model is cast aluminum, precision machined and heat treated and offered in 3 different finishes, Natural, Polished and Black Wrinkle with Polished Highlights. Provided with stainless steel lid mounting hardware and a spin-on HD style oil filter. (Personal note: make sure you choose the correct oil filter for your application or surprise…) This oil filter accepts ¼” NPT fittings. It is compatible with anything up to a Twin Cam and a wide variety of mounting and oil line adapters are being designed to accommodate most applications. MSRP starts at $300 and you get free shipping or a free tee-shirt (continental US). At LA County Choprods.

It looks nice, but it would look really nice if it didn’t have the shop name on it. I will keep looking for one without a built-in advertisement.
