    Boys Boys Boys,

It makes for new search engine topics for the Google Gods to keep traffic (like you) coming and making comments to maintain rankings.

Jeff & Conrad, thanks for the comments in the other topic, too. Yeah, Modesty was never part of our ways!

Last night I started to comment on this thread with, “What, no gang signs?” but thought better of it.

Unfortunately V-twin-related news (or Harley news if you will) is pretty slow right now due to the recession or the demise of the Harley fad (take your pick).

One constant in news search engines, however, is Harley wrecks, especially on Mondays. Harley owners continue to ride off the road in droves, but it doesn’t make for interesting blog fodder.

There is just no end to the “serious badass” marketing ploy.

What?!?! $40 for a T-Shirt???? Who do they think they are???? Harley-Davidson or something? I guess I am just uncool. I do not wear West Coast Choppers, OCC, Tapout, Affliction, Extreme Couture, HD, or Fag Hardy. I only wear shirts in support of our military, or with large print profanity, and my favorite with a big full back pic of Johnny Cash throwing up the bird. WT said it best.. DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSHHHHHHHHH!

nick is a nice guy and congrats on the deal..diversify and overcome. good job. and all you idiots out there you wish someone paid you to wear their clothes.

  12. 12 Conrad Nicklus Oct 7th, 2009 at 11:32 am

They don’t “pay” him to wear their clothes. They give him free shirts.. ( oh big deal a 7$ shirt for free…no such thing as free..) Plus, a company won’t pay a “nobody” to wear something in hopes of promotion. When you promote you use a NAME to promote your product, not someone who says they are someone,,,,,

  13. 13 A 1 cycles Oct 7th, 2009 at 1:51 pm

conrad you are narrow..nicks name is big in the sportbike your homework and broaden your horizons..theres more to life than v-twins. and im pretty sure nicks getting paid, after knowing him for years. he doesnt do anything for free…he may even own a part of the company? hes a very sharp operator like your father.

  14. 14 A$$HOLE Oct 7th, 2009 at 10:50 pm

They still look like a Massengil twin pack, paid or not.

Now that is some funny shit!

They look no different then the younger Harley rider nowadays. Open your eyes, there is a larger world out there people. The attitude and narrow-minds of the V-Twin world is not helping with the current state of the market. Plus that so-called “nobody” looks to be receiving some free marketing out of the deal. Seems somewhat smart right now.

Think I saw jon gosslin in one.

  18. 18 Jeff Nicklus Oct 8th, 2009 at 3:25 pm

    Jimmy B,

Nick Anglada is 36 years old …. he therefore could hardly be referred to as a “younger rider” himself ….. rather his marketing strategy is directed toward the “younger riders”…. what is commonly referred to as the “Ricer Clan”.

    Over & Out,

  19. 19 A$$HOLE Oct 8th, 2009 at 3:50 pm

They do not look like the younger Harley riders nowadays. They look like the jerk offs that wear their asses hanging out, blinging grills, and grabbing on their nuts when they talk to you. These guys look more like the Metal Milisha from the X games. Regardless, the designs suck. They are just Ed Hardy knock offs, utilizing the played out patterns of traditional, or Sailor Style tattoos. Give it a month or two, and these shirts will be the best indicator of the folks that have never ridden a bike, much like the OCC, WCC shirts. These shirts are only missing the sparkly paint, and gem stones. Sniff, Sniff. Smalls like vinegar and water.

  20. 20 Jimmy B Oct 9th, 2009 at 9:32 am

I thought he was an unknown? You know his age? I am sure compared to most of your ages, he could be considered a younger rider.

Like it or not, everyone has the right to wear what they want… isn’t everyone always crying about America, freedom and “change?” Just like you older gentlemen prefer leather and dare I say… fringe. Even half-mullets if I remember correctly.

  21. 21 A$$HOLE Oct 10th, 2009 at 12:19 am

Every one DOES have the right to wear what they want. They also have the right to express opinions and be criticized for what they wear. A sell out is just a sell out. Careful with the ASSumptions tho. Some of us ARE the younger riders these days, and we do not wear leather, fringe, mullets,Obama bumper stickers, or douchebag t-shirts.

  22. 22 LUCKY CHARM Oct 12th, 2009 at 8:40 am

i will be weraing goodwill exclusively this year, thanks to assholes like these guys that buy import crap and are sinking this once great nation. thanks

  23. 23 adam@customfighters Oct 12th, 2009 at 9:06 am

His name is Nick Anglada, and he’s builds the only non-bling-chopper scene styled sportbikes in the US. His style is tasteful and amazing. Look up some of his builds @ also under his companies previous name Custom Sportbike Concepts.

So I would say he not just another one of those young pricks that acts just like everyone else, cuz he didnt fall into your fad’s.

  24. 24 adam@customfighters Oct 12th, 2009 at 9:16 am

and i personally will only be wearing Custom Fighters apparel for….ever!

  25. 25 adam@customfighters Oct 12th, 2009 at 9:17 am

….and i just looked at the stay fast line, and you would totally have to pay me a shitload to wear that crap lol.

  26. 26 IntelWeenie Oct 13th, 2009 at 12:21 pm

    Jimmy B,

A lot of us “Older” riders wear leather for one reason- it wears better than cloth if you happen to fall down while on your bike. Yes, as most on here will attest, almost all riders will drop at one time or another. Luckily, I went 35 years in between falls, and hopefully not to fall again for at least another 35. If I do fall again, I hope I’m wearing leather- I didn’t this last time, and have some nice scars that wouldn’t be there if I had been wearing it.

  27. 27 You guys are lame Oct 20th, 2009 at 6:10 pm

I love this site, but damn if you guys aren’t brutal sometimes. The guy makes nice bikes and does charity builds as well (I know because he buys from me as well)…lighten up. Yeah…not the best statement if nobody knows who you are, but I’m sure he didn’t pick the catch phrase.

So, think real hard guys…what did people say of the way you dressed 25 years ago? Long hair, tattoos, leather and denim…bite your tongues kids.
