Got only the picture without explanation.
One-wheel machines are motorcycles. Right? Or Monocycle?
Would like the builder to contact me to tell my readers how it works…and how it rides.
Waiting for this, you can play with the picture and write your own headline.
Cyril,
His name is Kerry McLean, and he has been tweaking this design for 30+ years, and actually holds a speed record for single-wheel vehicle at 61 MPH, set in 2001.
This model is powered by a 5 hp Briggs/Stratton engine.
I saw this guy on a TV program a few years ago, hard to forget something this unusual.
OOPS,
The one he was riding on the TV show I saw was a Briggs/Stratton engine… I don’t know what kind of engine is in this photo.
Gotta admire the guy for sticking with it for 30 years and definitely for being creative. But I don’t think I would ride it at 60+ mph. Guess he plans to go faster with the new design. Hope he makes is and survives!
I saw this guy toss it on Whacked Out Sports. Looked very painful! But, you have to admire his creativity and dedication to a project. Best of luck!

The wobble before that wipeout is frightening
thats a mad looking thing,
but what happens when you brake hard
Hey Ger,
For sure it ain’t good in a skid!
Or for heavy braking (other than locked brake) the motor and rider become one with the wheel. F*#k this thing makes me dizzy!! LOL
This concept exist since 1869, many try improvement for bether, and for this they deservet all our respect.
Hope the new wing, help stablise it.
Totally sick….the guy deserve credit.
Dave Blevins,
The one in the picture is CLEARLY not a Briggs engine…Just look with your eyes and not assume because you saw in on Momster Garage one time…That is a skinny block (small block) Chevrolet motor…probably a 350 or something cheap and small.
for us older folks it kind of looks like richard pryor on his wonder wheel from the movie the toy ! cool device but stability? turns have got to be a bitch you lean too far do you wobble like a coin? think its cool but it might need some training wheels lol!
I saw THE ICE CREAM MAN FROM HELL doing stunts on a bike just like that.
do a search on him, I believe monocycle or Kerry Mclean on youtube. He actually has either a v6 or 8 in one of the videos. The guy has some serious cajones. More power to him!
WTF
FORGET THE 42s THIS GUYS GOT A 72…NOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL THAT PISS OFF?
