Well, it wasn’t under the tree but there’s a brand new Ultra Limited, two tone red special paint, sitting in my garage. Nice scooter! On Thursday I got the first recall in the mail. Regardless, I
    love the thing.

In true workaholic fashion, I went the shop on Christmas eve to get a few things done and let out our shop dog, Lucky. I got stuck in a huge blizzard and had to spend Christmas eve at my office. Shoveled snow from 3AM to 5AM and headed home arriving at 8AM, just after my daughter awoke to see what Santa left for here. We had a great morning and made snow angels together. I received the blessing of making it home to share a memorable Christmas with my family. Oh, and by the way… I also received an exquisite, gloss black Ruby helmet.

I recieved a wonderful day snowed in with my wife and 6yr. old daughter, a couple of new shirts, a new pocket knife and a set of really cool micro scewdrivers. It was a great Christmas. Today I have to start digging out. One thing about it, in South Dakota you are always guaranteed a white Christmas.

The wonderful pleasure of having Christmas Eve dinner with my son and his family and then visiting my daughter and her family on Christmas day! My wife printed up and framed a beautiful picture of our Corgi Maggie May for me and I got a nice hatchet to chop up our firewood kindling (been using the big axe). We had a early Christmas a couple weeks ago when Sue’s son and his new wife/baby came up for a visit along with Sue’s daughter who flew in from Seattle.

Nothing beats being with family over the holidays.

Well, I did not receive a lot of “materialistic” things. We were able to give our children a decent Christmas. We received confirmation that we were able to save our house from foreclosure. We won a year, long civil suit. After a long, stressful year, I have closure and contentment. My heart feels better and my faith is stronger. 2010 IS GONNA ROCK!!!!

Although Christmas just isn’t the same since my kids have grown up, it is indeed still a joy to watch the two of them on the floor together passing out gifts, just as they did as youngsters, and still gigging each other even now at ages of 22 (my Son) and 25 years old (my Daughter) …… I watch that and I still see them in my memories as much younger children …. I suppose that is what parenting is about! That is what I received for Christmas that means the most to me anyway!

    P.S.

My Christmas gift from my wife: She made my reservations and paid for my trip to Cincinnati this year … well she paid for everything except my anticipated bar bill ……. said she couldn’t afford that! Is she a good wife or what? I think so!

Having my son home for Christmas, He almost got snowed in, in South Dakota,He almost had Christmas with Darin and Family. My friend got her house broken into a few days before Christmas and we all went to see what we could do and it turned out to be a big party, instead of the doom & gloom, we all made the best of a sad situation. On Christmas Eve is The Kiwi’s birthday we went over to our friends house for The Kiwi’s fav dinner of roast lamb. On Christmas day we had our friends over for dinner and we exchanged gifts The Kiwi got me a blackberry, coffee maker & clothes. I also got a Sandisk like an ipod from a friend. He got lots of lamb, clothes and a portable hard drive that he has been wanting. Happy New Year to you all. Love from the Kiwi’s
