Trainer and Life Coach on the NBC hit series “The biggest Loser” and of the up and coming NBC show “losing With it”, Jillian Michaels is taking action to motivate people to donate money towards Haiti. She is auctioning her Yamaha FZ1 motorcycle from Season 4 of “The Biggest Loser” on eBay at . The live auction just started and is held over the course of 5 days, with all proceeds going towards the “Clinton Bush Haiti Fund”. “The current destruction in Haiti is devastating,” says Michaels. This motorcycle is a fully customized Yamaha FZ1, hand painted by Troy Lee.
It is customized to the point of being nearly unrecognizable. It has titanium pipes, belly pan fairings, modified mirrors, iPod and iPhone capabilities, and a special alarm. Jillian Michaels tells this story. “When I was 28 years old and at a major cross roads in my life something in my heart called me to Haiti . I was soul searching, lost, confused, looking for direction. I was in Haiti for roughly 3 weeks. I traveled the entire country from Cap-Haitien through Port-Au-Prince down to Jacmel. The people were the most kind, loving, open and generous souls I had ever met. Even with nothing, living in shanties, they would literally give you the shirts off their backs. They brought me into their homes. Fed me soup. Shared their stories and their culture. Showed me the true potential of the human spirit. They showed me how to cultivate the fabric of resilience, and gave me an overall perspective on life that changed me forever”. The real heros are your local churches who have been supporting Haiti and other third world countries with donations from people who can’t afford for themselves for over 100 years.
and with the determination keep supporting their asses from poverty, with missionaries and money.
this country is only surviving by the donations we and other countries give. period.
if you want to be a hero, give your money to a church that knows where it needs to go. not to anyone who seeks recognition from dispair.

Surprising to me that H-D didn’t give her a bike to auction off. She was recently announced as some marketing/outreach Ambassador for women and motorcycling by H-D.
Good for her though-whether it’s self-promotion or not, at least she’s attempting to help out.

1. H-D would reap benefit from donation, (i.e. tax deduction)
2. Miss Jillian would reap even more publicity and revenue.
3. Haiti would still be a 3rd world country needing even more.
4. Our country would reap benefit from tax over the whole scam.

The bike is Jillians personal bike. She didn’t have to do it and she’s not doing it for exposure. She just wants to help. Some of your comments lead people to believe that motorcyclists are really scum of the earth.

Anyway, have to agree with why all the help for Haiti? Doesn’t America have millions of poor people that get no help? Where was the help from foreign countries when Katrina hit for the US?
Time to worry about our own for once. Most countries will take our help & money, but then stab us in the back after wards.

Wow!! with the exception of a couple of posts I can truly say I’m extremly appalled and ashamed to be an American along side with all of you. Whatever you guys are really angry about it’s so misguided. Even as a fellow American, I wouldn’t lift a finger to help you in our own country with your BAD ATTITUDES! Anyone, with half the brain would know that USA is the most fu—-ing spoiled country with lots of resources to help, unlike other countries that don’t. So do me a favor don’t even play the victim. So look in the mirror at your ugly behavior. I can promise you it’s not attractive. Also then and only then If I wouldn’t help you then don’t even waste your breathe wondering why other countries might hate us and hesitate to help, even though some do, even when you think they don’t. It’s just that americans are ungrateful. Reach out and help and develop some gratitude and stop obsessing over the government, money, who has what who doesn’t etc. How one personally behaves is a choice.
Second, Leave Jillian alone, otherwise I’ll arrange for her to take you out in the dessert and kick your A—-s and give you a lesson on respect or I can just use you as target practice myself. She’s a woman with a big heart and she does nothing but help people so CUT IT OUT!!!
