The only think that I – and many of you – will regret is that these beautiful solid brass exhaust tips are available only for 1 3/4″ pipes. Probably because most all vintage and most new “old school” bikes use exhaust systems with this OD size. Who is going to be the 1st to offer them for 2″, 2.5″ & 3″ pipes? Available in 3 designs, their overall length is 1 1/2″ when installed, are sold in pairs, and require easy drilling of your pipes for installation. Made in America at a great price of $119.00. They look nice but aren’t they going to tarnish in about 20 seconds?
Are they coated somehow to prevent issues?
Is brass the new aluminum? Great! It’s so easy to machine.
Dont know how they perform in extreme heat but sure they look good.
And i am thinking of throwing some brass in my current bike build.
