The 2010 Sturgis edition of the Rat’s Hole Custom Chopper Show will be held at the legendary Buffalo Chip. Ted Smith, son of late Karl Smith a.k.a. Big daddy, and owner of the world famous bike show, continues the tradition started in 1973 of gathering premier custom motorcycles in a fun family-oriented atmosphere at an array of large motorcycle events in the world.
Scheduled for Thursday, August 12 the Rat’s Hole Custom Chopper Show will feature 24 classes as well as a Best of Show award. Classes were recently expanded to include two new classes for Metric Cruisers and Sport Bikes. In addition, this year’s Best of Show winner will receive their award on the Legendary Buffalo Chip’s main stage before that night’s featured performer. “We’re ecstatic to have the Rat’s Hole Chopper Show here at the Chip this year,” explains Legendary Buffalo Chip owner, Rod Woodruff. It’s a great motorcycle industry tradition that we’re proud to host and be associated with.As a result of the show’s strong tradition and reputation, it has been a launch bed for many of today’s top motorcycle builders including Orange County Choppers, Dave Perewitz, Indian Larry, Cyril Huze and countless other industry icons.” To be part of one of the biggest events in Sturgis at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, register now your bike Rat’s Hole Custom Chopper Show and visit Buffalo Chip for accommodations.
Sounds like a good plan. Plus it’s the day after the AMD show so I can compete in both!
