The driveline parts business is all about multiplying torque. At Baker, they master the art and science of optimizing the transmission gear sizes to the desired RPM versus-Speed performance. And you? Do you know how to decide and order the right combo motor sprocket, transmission pulley/sprocket gearset, the wheel pulley/sprocket and your rear wheel size to obtain the best riding range for the long haul? Hey, you just need to know about 2 equations to calculate expected RPM  and Speed. In its website, Baker offers an easy to use calculator tool where, just by filling the blanks, you can finesse, massage, and work the numbers up and down until you reach the desired result you are looking for. Great tool and super informative even if you just want to know a bit more about how this whole thing works. And if you plan on running down the drag strip you REALLY need this.

I’ll Bet there isn’t more then 2 out of 10 Motorcyle Mechanics that know that information ! I will bet that Mechanic, that knows that Information, doesn’t have the Knowledge to be able to figure out the Math. If you come across a Mechanic that knows and knows how to “Do the Math” he is employed by Baker or Primo or Riverra or S&S . I believe Guys that Do the drag strip use the the same method as most Medical Doctors and that is “they practice”.
