You are looking at Scott Jacobs’ “My Way Or The Highway” new painting that officially commemorates the 70th Anniversary of the Sturgis Rally and Races.
The painting was done from a photography of Scott’s daughter Alexa posing front of the landmark vintage gas station Tower Conoco in Texas which has been in existence since 1938.
It’s a salute to women who “ride their own” to Sturgis. During the rally Alexa Jacobs will be signing each giclee piece along with her dad. If you already own a previous official Sturgis canvas and would like a matching number they will do everything in their power to make that happen. Original painting will be displayed at Black Hills Harley-Davidson. Scott and Alexa will spend their time between the Harley Dealer in Rapid City (exit 55), Sturgis Harley-davidson (At Junction) and Kitty’s Casino in Deadwood. LARGE: 40 X 28 Canvas Framed $1465; Gallery Price: $1950. REGULAR: 26 X 18 Canvas Framed $595; Gallery Price: $795. Contact Ron Copple at 303-431-4453
Beautiful!
Now that’s worth buying.
Hats off to Scott Jacobs. Be sure to stop by the Garage Shop Fabricator Demonstration Fair at the Rally Expo Lot on Thursday August 12 (4pm). Lorenzo Cycles and FFJournal will sponsor a Lady Rider Of Year Contest —the only event of its kind to celebrate lady riders. Prizes include apparel, jewelry and a chance to be on KickStartTV.
This is great… and its of a gas station gone by in times. Lovely. I hope to purchase this when I get there.
Ah this is quite an honor. Thanks to Scott and Alexa!
