Now that being said. Were going to have some problems with Egypt. Might have to rename it ” New Syria”

For you out of touch – what if Obama was in office for 30 years and kept 70% taxes for him and his bubs. Mubarak has 30 bill (not mill) in the bank. It’s about time. Well played Cyrl, see ya in a few for BW. Going to be nice weather here at the beach this weekend!

I wonder if we had 200,000 people demonstrate in the streets of DC if we could get rid of a duly elected President, say for example: Obama, as easily as they have in Egypt? Just a thought!

I’ll bet Israel is really happy with this whole event …. Not!

Jeff Nicklus. I thought that Obama was elected democratically. It’s not a democratic process when you lose the election, right?

  8. 8 666 Feb 11th, 2011 at 2:04 pm

Jeff here is what would happen. First the 200,000 people would be met by a large police force tear gassed and fire hosed. Then some would be arrested
Second All 200,000 would be labeled RACISTS!!!!!!

  9. 9 fluke Feb 11th, 2011 at 2:08 pm

Mubarak, a non democratic leader was kept in power by US support for decades ( which is odd as the US is supposed to promote democracy every chance it gets) for one reason, four letters, long canal that a whole bunch of tankers use. Suez, the threat of closing has already increased fuel prices at the pump from Bumfuck, Alabama to Paris, France; Yah, Mubarack has been over thrown,

  10. 10 Jeff Nicklus Feb 11th, 2011 at 2:09 pm

    Harry Shulz,

Mubarak is a democratically elected President as well and that seems to mean nothing in Egypt. Obama is endorsing his overthrow so what is good for the goose is good for that gander … right? Or did I miss completely what you are saying ??????

Jeff. Where did you hear that Mubarak was elected democratically? On Fox News? What about election frauds and voters intimidation?

  16. 16 Jeff Nicklus Feb 11th, 2011 at 2:19 pm

    Brett,

Says who CNN? You don’t know anything about voter fraud other that what CNN and CNBC covers. Hell, I believe there was voter fraud involved with the Obama election but no one can prove it! Still the fact remains that Mubarak ( and Osama Obama) was elected, fraud or no fraud, or the fact he was the only name on the ballet … he was elected. Bottom line.

    Over & Out,

    Jeff

  17. 17 Brett Amstrong Feb 11th, 2011 at 2:21 pm

No Jeff. A lot of egyptians speak english. Have been there visiting the pyramids. Writing signs in english was a way, via tv and photography to spread knowledge of their revolution to the english speaking world. You are dumb. As a tourist you want the rest of the world to understand english but don’t want to see signs in english! Dumb.

  18. 18 666 Feb 11th, 2011 at 2:22 pm

After the debacle of the last presidential election (read ACORN) no one in this country has the right to accuse anyone of voter fraud!!! GEEESH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. 19 Jeff Nicklus Feb 11th, 2011 at 2:37 pm

    Brett,

I too have been to Egypt and not as many people speak English as you might like to represent herein. Further I know full well why the signs are in English. That still doesn’t take away from the fact, which you have avoided commenting on, that Mubarak is a duly elected President of Egypt.

Now that he is gone we better worry about the next regime that takes power. As Fluke stated the Suez Canal is vital to our economy and strategic presence in the region. We may have to come in and control the canal …. Then CNN and CNBC will go nuts. Then again I don’t think Obama has the nuts to stand up to anyone and take the canal.

Further, I mention again, what about Israel? At least with the Mubarak regime there has been 30 years of peace with Egypt. Trust me, Egypt, Jordan or any other Arab State in the region should avoid screwing with the security of Israel …. they will not hesitate to pop a cap in their ass if they do and then there we go!

    Over & Out,

    Jeff

Does anyone, other than me, find it odd that the demonstrators had signs written in English?

Jeff those demonstrations are like game show audiences with no females..after the cameras stop their back to hanging out at cafe’s smoking their pipes and making new signs!

Jeff CNN isn’t that the Communist News Network??? The rabbit ears on my igloo only get me FOX is that OK??

Israel should just buy Baja off the Mexicans and move there and save us a ton of misery…..Baja is hot, desert like, has water and is close to Hollywood, Vegas and Palm springs what more could they ask for??
Madooff’s 60 billion could have easily bought it off the Mexicans or been one heck of a down payment!

The rest of the not so happy Arabs should then buy the Falklands off ??? ……….. then we might have peace over in the middle east and get us cheap oil for our SUVs !!!

  21. 21 Cris Jones Feb 11th, 2011 at 5:04 pm

Hey, Jeff. About voting. During 18 days Egyptians have voted in the streets. All votes counted. Mubarak is out.

  22. 22 Richard Feb 11th, 2011 at 5:13 pm

Jeff and others (you know who you are),
Your ignorance is overwhelming. I would venture a guess that you get all your information and bias by listening to limbaugh, beck, hannity palin etc. Fox news is the most unfair and unbalanced around. Followers of these demagogues are too stupid to understand they are puppets of these far right extremists who have no interest in improving the country…they only want power and wealth. .

  23. 23 Cris Jones Feb 11th, 2011 at 5:19 pm

Well said Richard. Beck, Limbaugh, Palin, etc speeches and actions are just to enrich themselves. They are the shame of America and if the world laughs at us Americans, it’s because of people like them…and Jeff Nicklus.

  24. 24 Walt Lumpkin Feb 11th, 2011 at 6:39 pm

While we are on the subject of ignorance Richard, maybe you don’t remember the last time a Middle Eastern government was overthrown (Iran 1979). That event was the catalyst for the Islamic Revolution that we are seeing today. We can thank Jimmy Carter for that.

And Cris Jones, apparently you have a problem with people making money expressing their thoughts and ideas. Based on your statement I’m sure you will come down hard on Clinton for charging $1 Million US for his speeches and Al Gore becoming a multi-millionaire very shortly after leaving office by regurgitating his global warming mantra. While you are at it call for them to park those private jets that haul their sorry asses around the world.

One more thing Cris, assuming you are a US citizen, Jeff Nicklus and others on this blog are the reason you have the freedom to believe what you will and the right to let everyone know your limitations.

  25. 25 David Feb 11th, 2011 at 7:06 pm

Richard and Cris….I’m glad both of you are listening to and watching Limbaugh,Beck, Hannity and Fox news…..because if you weren’t you would have no idea what they were saying and would be completely ill informed…Congrats….
Jeff ….Just keep up the good work.
Richard just who do yo think has an interest in improving the country? It seems that the right wants you to do it for yourself. The left on the other hand wants you to provide the tax money for them to do it for you…at least we know where you stand and therefore know you are one of them who just wants to sit on your butt and have the govt. provide for you and yours.

Cyril….you should wait and see about congradulating the Egyption people….they may not be any better off…..do you really think their financial system now will not pull them down now…Have you listened to what Nicolas Sarkosy, David Cameron and Angela Merkel are saying about the populations in their countries?

  27. 27 Allen Feb 11th, 2011 at 7:49 pm

Political pundits, I don’t see how a democratic process can begin without first getting rid of an autocrat. Nobody knows what’s going to happen, and certainly not you. It’s not because there is uncertainty after a democratic revolution that it should not happen. Or democracy would never get a chance. What a bunch of idiots those above who don’t appreciate what Egyptians succeeded to do without violence. You should better off spending your time thinking of the political power of the digital medias.

  28. 28 Allah Feb 11th, 2011 at 7:51 pm

Muslim Brotherhood is gaining steam and popularity among disillusioned Egyptians bent on ousting President Hosni Mubarak from office. But excerpts of a 1995 book written by the Muslim Brotherhood‘s fifth leader and translated by Palestinian Media Watch are lending a disturbing look at the group’s views and stated mission.

“Jihad is the Way” is the last of a five-volume work, “The Laws of Da’wa,” written by Mustafa Mashhur, the reported leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt from 1996 until 2002.

Brotherhood’s objectives:“global conquest of Islam” and “reestablishing the Islamic Caliphate, the “public and private duties of jihad” and the “struggles Muslims must wage against Israel.”

“The Islamic ummah,” [the book] says, referring to the supranational community of Muslims, “can regain its power and be liberated and assume its rightful position which was intended by Allah, as the most exalted nation among men, as the leaders of humanity.”

  29. 29 nicker Feb 11th, 2011 at 9:46 pm

Jeff & Walt have the likes of Chris & Richard pegged, don’t need to elaborate there.

However, i can sympathies with Mubarak, he watched his predecessor assassinated by a military squad in the middle of a parade. And the reason Sadat was assassination was because he went to Camp David and was convinced by Jimmy Carter to play-nice with Israel.

What most Liberals don’t get is that both the Sha of Iran and Mubarak had to ride roughshod over the Islmic elements trying to rebuild the Otoman Clifate. Those type of people only understand power politics, they don’t understand diplomacy, in fact they revile it.

The Saudis are wetting their pants. Even with their complicity in the globalization of Islam, the same crew of Islamic terrorists are after them too. They didn’t want Mubarak to bail out.

The Egyptian situation will now play out in favor of those with the balls to control the game, just as it did in Iran. The unfortunate reality is that although both countries are populated by “educated” people, Nature seems to favor the Club over the Pen.

I certainly don’t know if Obama actually knows what he’s doing, but if his choice of a National Security Czar, who believes the Muslim Brotherhood is a “secular political group that poses no problems in this matter, is any criterion, then i’ll venture that “our boys” are whistling bast the grave yard (it’s Jimmy Carter all over again).

Don’t believe the hype. The true enemy has yet to reveal himself. Anarchy is always only a temporary state which always leads to a dictatorship when the strongest eventually assumes control from the chaos & you are left with something even worse than what you were rebelling against. Be careful what you wish for, you might not like what you end up with.

We’ll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgment of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
    Just like yesterday
And I’ll get on my knees and pray
    We don’t get fooled again
    Don’t get fooled again

    Change it had to come
    We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fall that’s all
But the world looks just the same
    And history ain’t changed
‘Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
    Just like yesterday
And I’ll get on my knees and pray
    We don’t get fooled again
    Don’t get fooled again
    No, no!

I’ll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I’ll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie

    Do ya?

    There’s nothing in the street
    Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Is now the parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
    Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
    We don’t get fooled again
    Don’t get fooled again
    No, no!

    YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

    Meet the new boss
    Same as the old boss

I don’t trust any of this being any good.
About a week ago on the national nightly news, a quick mention that our Gov (cia ?? ) knew something back in December that there was some sort of plan to oust Mubarak.

Note to Egypt : Brace yourselves, back in 2007 most of our country fell for the “change” bs.

  40. 40 Wiz Feb 12th, 2011 at 5:33 am

People, People, People, Can’t you see the white elephant in the room? Franklin Delonor Roosevelt said “Presidents aren’t elected, they’re SELECTED!” Nothing in this world happens by CHANCE! It’s all run, controlled, implemented, and carried out by unseen powers that make us think we have an influence on world events. Sure, on the local level we can make a change, but when it concerns world-wide senarios, they are running the show! Red ‘an blue, don’t make any difference. As Lewis Black said “It’s just one bowl of shit looking at itself in the mirror!” They like us to argue about the PUPPET who is alledgedly in charge, but they put him there ‘an he does their bidding! “God grant me the Serenity to ACCEPT the things I can’t change, The Courage to change the things I can, And the WISDOM to KNOW the DIFFERENCE!!” Wiz

Wiz: Thanks for telling it like it is. Liberal or conservative, left or right, red or blue, they all want the same thing……For us to keep arguing amongst ourselves and not actually look that closely at what they’re doing. Which is making sure that corporate feudalism rules. Anyone who thinks Obama, Bush, Clinton or Reagan are any different are living in a dream world. All of them have consistently moved towards the same goals, despite the garbage they spout in their speeches. I hope this turns out well for the people of Egypt, but unfortunately they’re likely to just get more of the same.

  45. 45 TUT Feb 12th, 2011 at 10:42 am

This reminds me of Iran in 1979, and it ended up hijacked by the Islamists. That’s the threat in Egypt today. The Muslim Brotherhood wants the institution of Sharia law. On its website it says that no Christian or woman can be the president of Egypt.

  50. 50 Jeff Nicklus Feb 12th, 2011 at 3:12 pm

    motonyc,

Let’s see if I do remember correctly the choices we had for President during the last election …..

One choice has yet to provide proof that he is even a Natural Born American Citizen (he was born to a Father who was a foreign national on a student visa to the US and a “hippy mother” from Kansas) he has yet to provide a copy of his birth certificate, copies of his school records, announced the method of payment for his Ivy League College Education, this individual has ties to terrorists (American and others), he is an individual who has never served in the American Military, he is an individual whose wife was only proud of her country (USA) once her husband received the Democratic nomination for the President of the USA and an individual who has never held gainful employment other than as a community agitator, he is an individual who has a political career that can be measure in months not years and his only voting record in Congress was “Present” never taking a stand on anything …..

    OR OUR OTHER CHOICE WAS:

An individual who is a proven Natural Born American Citizenship, he has released his birth certificate for review, he graduated for the US Naval Academy (his Father and Grandfather both were Four Star Admirals in the US Navy), he has served his country as a US Naval Aviator and was deployed to the Viet Nam Theater of Operations, during which time the aircraft in which he was piloting, during combat operations, was shot down by enemy fire and he was taken POW. During his POW YEARS (5 ½ years total) he held his water against his captors never divulging any American Secrets nor did he bow to any foreign leaders. Upon his release from captivity he returned to the US a TRUE American hero earning the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross. This individual has served since 1982 in both the House of Representatives (2 yrs) and the US Senator from Arizona to date, I should also point out that this individual has a voting record (other than just present) for this entire time period. I could go on but even you should get the point here.

I don’t know but I think I will choose the second guy!

Wonder if “We the people” made a very bad choice for our President ????? You be the judge!

    Over & Out,

    Jeff

  51. 51 Lawyer90215 Feb 12th, 2011 at 3:42 pm

1- He has yet to provide a copy of his birth certificate. He did. Birthers failed.
2- He has yet toprovide copies of his school records. No, not required, and a US citizen can study abroad.
3- He has yet to provide method of payment for his Ivy League College Education. Not required.
4- He is an individual who has never served in the American Military. Like many. Not required.
5- He is individual who has ties to terrorists (American and others). Proof?
6- He is an individual whose wife was only proud of her country (USA) once her husband received the Democratic nomination for the President of the USA. Her right. Freedom of speech.
7- He is an individual who has never held gainful employment other than as a community agitator. He was paid, it’s a profession. Agitator? Only your opinion, All activists are agitators?
8- He is an individual who has a political career that can be measured in months not years. Some would think it’s much better.
9-His only voting record in Congress was “Present”, never taking a stand on anything. False. Check records. Also a refusal to vote legislation while present is abstention, a political standing position.

  60. 60 Lawyer90215 Feb 12th, 2011 at 9:42 pm

    666. During a litigation, you don’t have to answer questions not related to the case. A lawyer will always recommend that you don’t reply and will ask a judge to rule out these questions. A politician doesn’t have to answer questions not related to his legal requirements to be candidate and elected. Bush has never answered questions regarding the way he avoided the draft. Confusing public opinion to discredit your opponent is a favorite political game. Mr. Nicklus makes statements without any justifications or proof. If he would have any, he would become a GOP hero. He is entitled to his opinion, but it’s only an opinion. Some facts he stated are factually incorrect.

lawyer, I understand what you are saying. BUT obama is supposed to be on the side of we the people not in a court of law. It is the old it may be legal but it is not right answer. Once again if he has nothing to hide why would he not just show the people of the USA and move on ? This is not a court of law!!!

  63. 63 J Feb 13th, 2011 at 12:29 pm

Actually, what a lawyer will say first is “Do you have my retainer?”

Otherwise, what a lawyer has to say about anythings holds very little weight in the world today.

    Non-answers still aren’t answers, dude.

  64. 64 666 Feb 13th, 2011 at 1:29 pm

If you think about it a bunch of lawyers is what got us into the majority of the messes we are in today!!!!!! Litigate that..

  65. 65 Scott Feb 13th, 2011 at 4:39 pm

    666 and the rest,

What’s sad is you buy the B.S., like birth certificates and the rest of it that the Republican Politicians
have said is false. Rush, O’Reilly, Beck are laughing all the way to the bank at you. They use basic
human behavior against you and you fall for it hook line and sinker.

Having served in theatre gives you no special privileges nor means anything without recognition
for those at NSA or the covert ops giving the intel or especially the doctors fixing your wounds.
While thousands of soldiers suffering loss of limb or head trauma or PTSD have suffered due to
lack of funding at VA the banks where bailed out and used that money for bonuses and to prop
up balance sheets. How many of you took the time to move your money out of Bank of America
or any other institution taking the TARP funds. I ‘d bet none to few. I did.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice have committed the worst crimes in the history of our country. When
they remove members of NSA or intelligence for doing their job under the threat of treason and then
walk unscathed it’s the country that suffers as well as those who where simply abiding by the law.
Unfortunately a broad brush of “Black List” keeps all that under wraps until they’re dead since
Obama refused to declassify it. Be grateful he did the downside is a dark deep hole.

The right is no different than the Muslim extremists. I don’t even think they believe in democracy.
If they did then issues that allow choice wouldn’t be so violently fought against. The difference
between a Democrat and a Republican is Democrats aren’t trying to legislate their religion and force
others to abide by their personal religious beliefs.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen such open racism, bigotry and anti societal behavior. That just makes
it easier to know who gets my money and who doesn’t.

Pound your chest, look backwards not forward and keep your paranoid finger on the trigger. With that
attitude the world will never change.

Scott wrote “Rush, O’Reilly, Beck are laughing all the way to the bank at you. They use basic

    EXACTLY. Stupid right wing republicans.

  67. 67 666 Feb 13th, 2011 at 5:07 pm

    Scott

I closed all my B of A accounts. Further more I stopped paying on my B of A credit card. So What!! I do not believe what Rush says anymore than I believe what our so called potus says. They are all out for their own agenda. That said Rush , Beck etc. atre private citizens making all the money they can. obama is supposed to be and act differently. He is supposedly representing the people not his own interest or his “BROS” interests. That ios a big diffrencew. Her may be your hero but he certainly is not mine or miolions upon millions of other americans. So take your self righteousness and stick it!!!

  68. 68 Conrad Nicklus Feb 13th, 2011 at 7:05 pm

It is quite amazing as to how some people think and talk. I truly believe that this is terrible for Israel, the Muslim worlds over there are NUTS and Israel is still a bitch touchy over 7 Million of their people were murdered in WWII…. They won’t allow anyone to slaughter them again, whether be the Nazi freaks, Muslims or anyone else. I would really be making sure the Egyptian bullshit does not get too hectic, if so, I fear, Israel will push the blood red “button” and say hello glass parking lot.

I won’t even get into the politics side; you bleeding heart liberals don’t know your ass from a hole in the wall. Down here in Texas we just count the days we will have to revolt and let our actions speak louder than your Yankee words.

…..”Well said Richard. Beck, Limbaugh, Palin, etc. speeches and actions are just to enrich themselves. They are the shame of America and if the world laughs at us Americans, it’s because of people like them…and Jeff Nicklus.”….

LOL, Let the World laugh at us, we still support their ass. It is just a matter of time before you folks remember how our country was founded and what the founder of this fine country wanted…. It is not what you lovey dovey, fish kissing, tree hugging, horse humping minimalists really like. I mean, look at Fox; you say that it is the most BIASED news station? WELL HELLO RETARDS, THE “OTHER GUYS” ARE NOT EVEN BIASED; THEY ARE A ONE SIDED ENTITIY……SUPER LIBERAL COMMUNIST SIDE THAT IS…. Give me a damn break on this “FOX IS TERRIBLE” Shit…. They are the ones who at least broadcast SOME truth!

Go sit back down and scratch your heads as you listen to the Mubarak issues, there wasn’t issues with him in office… Egypt just messed up and will screw up and repeat the Iran shit over again for Iran.

Obama is an abomination to our nation and he will NOT get a second term no matter how much you believe so.

  69. 69 Grey Beard Feb 13th, 2011 at 7:56 pm

This administration reminds me of an old tv show, The Ted Mack Amateur hour.

Brace yourselves, grab your wallets, Obama’s campaigning for alternative fuel, it’s another payback time for the contributor that backed his presidential campaign.

  70. 70 David Feb 14th, 2011 at 12:09 am

Momma says”Stupid is as Stupid does” Remember this the next time you vote and what the democrats, liberals and the left have “done” over the past few years.
She also says”Life is like a box of Chocolates, You never know what your going to get”. That is if you even like Chocolates and can’t read the inside of the box cover. (that means do your own research and never take anyone at face value)!

After reading some of these comments, I now understand what is meant by the term; ‘the Dumbing of America’. We’ve become a nation of dunces. Hey kids, get off those video games and do a little reading – it’ll serve you/us well.

Let the World laugh at us, we still support their ass

and and when a push comes to a shove the rest of the free world always comes running to the usa for $$$ and military support………..somebody has to be care giver and the police force for the world 🙂

We’ve become a nation of dunces

trust me you havent…………..travel around the world a bit and you see what the rest of world is like ………there are people still driving on the wrong side of the road lol 🙂

Hope true leaders can make real diference and build a new and better world for everyone.
    Good luck to Egypt.

  74. 74 Nicole Feb 16th, 2011 at 4:39 pm

Harry, you said “1550tc. BS, BS, BS. Obama will be re-elected by a wide margin in 2012. Nobody with credentials on your side.”

I can’t believe you truely believe this. Where in this country do you live that has such a high rating of the work Obama has done while in office? I truely do not think there is a chance he will be re-elected. What great things has Obama done that you believe he needs to be in office for another term? People like you scare me and these so called credentials you have that make you believe your opinion is the only one that matters. This is America.

  75. 75 nicker Feb 18th, 2011 at 3:15 pm

    Bottom line:

Obama and that ilk (the Sol Alinski followers etc.) eschew a philosophy of wealth redistribution.
And the only parameter they’re willing to negotiate is how much is to be “Taken” and redistributed.

The other Fact is that the history of the American is steeped in the tradition of Self Reliance. Pilgrims bailed out of the Old World, coming West by themselves to live life their way. Pioneers came west by themselves to live life their way.

And the American Biker is (was once) of that same tradition. You built a scooter and you relied on it to get you to various destinations and back. You destinations reflected the confidence you had in your own abilities.

On the other hand, those with little ability and/or confidence relied on others(money, talent, etc….) to support their desire to ride (or need to be somebody).

At the risk of pissing into the proverbial “punch-bowl” i’ll ask a very simple and unpopular question:
Why are those of the you who have obviously drunk from the Obama/Alinski redistribution cool-aid, (and you know who you are, or your even more stupid than the rest of us think) pretending to be Bikers…..???
