A new interesting idea coming from Germany. The Pack-Pad Luggage. You know the dilemma. You ride a solo seat motorcycle, want to ride it for long distances and have no practical way, except maybe some removable saddlebags and a back pack, to carry all your overnight gear. Coming from 2 long time biker friends (Peter Holz & Michael Mager) this back pad can be used in different setups and simply holds to your rear fender via 8 strong high performance suction cups. So, use and remove in seconds depending of your needs.
The Pack Pad has right and left sidearms that you can unfold allowing either to fix side bags or mount luggage pieces onto the rack.
For heavier and higher luggage, straps can be used for a solid and scratch free mounting. Stainless steel construction, chrome or black. Works with Harley-Davidson models and many other motorcycle brands.
Order direct from manufacturer at Pack-Pad.
Rubber cups. Good idea.
wonder what the weight limit is before it pops off. a passenger holds on, but a bag or loggage even though bunged to the pad could still pull the pad off if too heavy.
Check out the website, while the instructions are in German, from the pictures it’s seems there are straps that attach the pad to the mudguard and bolts that can be used for extra safety
nice product
