It was nice to see old friends and racers present in Daytona pay tribute yesterday to racing legend Joe Robison by gathering at his Friday party. Robison’s is the oldest motorcycle dealer in Daytona (opened in 1962) and was the official Harley-Davidson dealer until 1993. The shop is still opened all year long, and helped by his grand son, Joe offers one of the best service in Daytona. Joe Robison’s Motorcycle Sales & Service is a REAL motorcycle shop from back in the day when only wacky enthusiasts used to go to Daytona Beach. A classy and true gentleman with a great shop. Nice post Cyril.
SHOP WAS AMAZING….JOE WAS SUPER KIND AND THE GRANDSON GAVE ME A SECRET TOUR WHEN HE FOUND OUT I WAS A GNC DIRT TRACKER…THE HISTORY ON THE WALLS AND THE BACK ROOM WHERE THE VERY FIRST XR1000 WAS BUILT AND ASSEMBLED WAS ONE OF MY BEST DAYTONA MEMORIES EVER..THANK YOU ROBINSON FAMILY

Thanks Mr Robison…I can’t say enough about how kind and supporting you have been to the people that come into his shop and get there bikes worked on..I met this man and his crew back in 1990 when i moved to Florida from Michigan and it has been a pleasure hanging out there as much as i do..Thanks Joes for being one of Daytona’s finest buisness men..
No doubt this shop is a piece of “time ” preserved . I have the great privelage of having accees to both Joe as well as his “stash :” of new and experienced parts ..and Robison’s is always my first call when looking for that H-D part that I may need …..
