Zero emissions is just a sales pitch to sell overpriced products to the trendy green crowd.

Almost half the electricity in this country is still produced by coal-fired power plants. So while you’re sipping a latte and whisking around on your electric bicycle feeling like you’re saving the world, don’t forget there’s a cloud of black smoke somewhere that’s powering you.

  7. 7 Harry May 31st, 2011 at 1:02 pm

You can find a brand new 2009 for this price

  8. 8 Delski May 31st, 2011 at 3:04 pm

You can build your own from online kits electric and gas powered and use a old mountain bike for under 500.

They make all these Zero emission items but wait a second they are electrical right.

An electricity comes from ? Oh !

Power plants in the US we mostly use coal the biggest pollution problem next I guess Volcanos cars and Air Craft.

Point is that 0 emission as stated above is a huge lie un less you charged that thing with a solar powered battery tender.

Then I hate to tell you this is a big Hoax !

We have 2 trillion barrels of oil in the Rocky Mountains, and over 500 billion barrels of sweet crude oil in the Bakken, and this is what we have come to? Wow! America was built with cheep energy, and looks like it will be destroyed by politicians that want their alternative technology stocks to grow.

    Doh! That’s why a 2009 would be cheaper than MSRP, e.g. $4995.

why would any one want this over priced piece of shit bicycle for the same price of a sportster thats like the so called smart car, get half a car for the same price of a normal size car, now thats smart.
and it does need to use electricity correct, so how do you come up with 0 emissions when the use of electricity is being used.

I just want to put in my two cents by saying i dont want the bicycle nor do i want to buy the Sportster. Unless my wife wants it because the sportster is a lightweight machine intended for women. so you can bicker back and forth for a womans bike if you want but i need alot more bike then that. Where I come from xou will be laughed out of town if you show up on a sportster and your not a woman. I guess that shows the difference in the older men and the younger boys.
