Flying Eyeballs All Over You

The Flying Eyeball, an iconic image associated with the 50’s and 60’s street rod crowd. It is an interpretation by Kenneth Howard, a.k.a. Von Dutch, of a symbol/image “the eye in the sky knows and see all” whose origin can be traced 5000 years ago in the Macedonian and Egyptian culture. Legend is that Von Dutch modified the original image during an acid trip…

You can still find a lot of  Von Dutch plastic junk at WallMart (please, avoid), but if you are looking for cool quality lead free, pewter pins and badges featuring the Flying Eyeball, a good address is the mysterious Unkl Ian who is producing his work in a hidden bunker somewhere near a pewter mine in the backwoods of Canada. His Flying Eyeballs are very cool, and because they are hand made and hand painted, the added beauty is that none will ever be the same. And he charges only $3 to $6 for shipping to North America, By the way, he is also a very good pinstriper. Tell him I sent you. Unkl Ian Flying Eyeball Pins And Badges.
