New For 2012. Progressive Suspension Softail Shocks With Remote Adjustable Preload.

Tucked under your Softail chassis it has never been easy to access and adjust the pair of shocks to changing loads or to the addition of a passenger. Reason why most don’t even bother to do it. For 2012 Progressive Suspension, America’s Premier Manufacturer Of Motorcycle Suspension, is launching the high performance 422 Series Softail Shocks with RAP or Remote Adjustable Preload.

Conveniently located behind the left passenger peg, the RAP system allows for easy tuning of the shocks to account for changing road conditions or loads. Packing a lot of gear for a big ride? Give the knob a few turns and the bike is set. Riding solo? A few rotations the other direction softens things up. The 422 RAP Series shocks are based on Progressive Suspensions proven gas charged monotube damper and are combined with heavy duty progressive rate springs for excellent ride quality and bottoming control. Threaded rod ends also provide several inches of height adjustment. Progressive Suspension 422 Series Softail Shocks.  Progressive Suspension 422 Series Softail Shocks.
