I’m sure they’re cool as hell but if they don’t make my bike louder I’m going to pass.

    I like Loud pipes!

I like the looks of those exhaust tips. Plain ends are crappy. Slashers , fishtails, megaphones or these, something unplain.

  5. 5 Tobby Nov 4th, 2011 at 3:20 pm

Where do you get the Rolex (trademark) name from? Also, on his website these are $299.

  6. 6 Fluke Nov 4th, 2011 at 3:37 pm

’tis true, Rolex is a trademarked name, Rolex is a company well known for very aggressively defending all their trademarks in all markets.

I think it is a very stupid idea using it. A quick check of TESS reveals no one at all using that in the US for any business other than a Rolex watches owned or franchised one. That says everything to me.

Parts look cool, very Battistini- ish though.

  7. 7 Cyril Huze Nov 4th, 2011 at 4:51 pm

To Tobby. My info with Rolex and price? From a direct email to me from Eddie Trotta dated yesterday 11/03/11.

Hey Eddie, This is “The #1 Biker Dude of the Universe”, as you sooo aptly put it down at Daytona before they hauled me off in the ambulance. It turned out not eating anything for three days catches up with ya, Yuk-Yuk!!! Wiz

Roscoe…LMAO! Damn that was funny, actually made coffee squirt out my nose. Thanks man!

  10. 10 bigalyts Nov 5th, 2011 at 7:59 am

I Know where he got the OK to use the ROLEX name?? They told Eddie that it was Ok because they are all marked up 4 X’s, and there is the similarity! Ho Ho Hee Hee !

  11. 11 1550tc Nov 5th, 2011 at 9:02 am

Eddie did Rolex call when you were using Rolex on that Strip clubs, pitbulls and Rolexs T shirts 7 years ago………. ??????? probably not

  12. 12 Tobby Nov 5th, 2011 at 11:00 am

My bad Cyril. The bells are $299. The slip ons are $275. The use of the Rolex name is still a head scratcher though.

  13. 13 Pot calling kettle black... Nov 5th, 2011 at 12:53 pm

WOW…with Eddie sending ol’ T. Earl LeVere after everybody for lame duck patent concerns for something as simple as a peg with a point on it, I would LOVE to hear about how he pulled off the Rolex name.

  14. 14 Hemsley Nov 5th, 2011 at 1:24 pm

The crown is the logo of Rolex. These parts imitate a crown. And Trotta called them Rolex! I don’t think he got away with anything. I think he hopes that nobody from Rolex notice. Just a game.

  15. 15 Patrick Henry Nov 5th, 2011 at 1:26 pm

I don’t think that Rolex is registered for motorcycle parts. But it shows that this design was “borrowed” from Rolex.

  16. 16 Drake Nov 5th, 2011 at 1:30 pm

Many in the industry before Trotta have used a crown as logo, design for their parts. It’s just another interpretation. And there will be more.

Go Eddie, get em’ what ever you have to do to make it, with in reason do it! Great looking and great name. Most of the your local minor competition are emailing Rolex already!. You know when you are in the middle of contraversy, you are where your competition strives to be……….. You are a Industry leader and very well respected. Keep on Designing the neet stuff that keeps you a Leader.

  20. 20 Gil Berenguer Nov 7th, 2011 at 6:00 pm

    @Thug.
Your crown looks like the RC Cola crown. Did you steal it from them? Probably not, most crowns look the same. But if it gives you a semi to think Eddie’s thinking about you…

Eddie Trotta designs are nothing more than knock offs of legendary bike builders builders hard work. Your bikes you made in the past dont even sell anymore so now your trying to build baggers. Your baggers are cookie cutters straight out the Custom Chrome cataloge with a paint job. I would be ashamed of puting my name on them.. Hope Shope knows you try to take credit for his products..
Sometimes you need to know when to call it quits and retire.
Like the song the GAMBLER goes “you have to know when to fold them”

As for THUG, even is he did start out working for you, he was smart enough to leave there and open his own shop doing his own style. He get’s more respect locally then you will ever. I believe in time his name will surpass Trotta in the future. So don’t hate. Put you money where you mouth is bike to bike. Well, now bagger to bagger..
    Biker build off!!!!

  28. 28 JACKIE-BOI Jan 16th, 2012 at 10:58 am

And really the only shit talkers around the bike comunity is coming from you, your shop, and your employees.
But I need to say you need watch what you say to people because shit always will come back to you.

  29. 29 JACKIE-BOI Jan 16th, 2012 at 11:05 am

Yes that was @ EDDIE the Shit talker..
