Saddlemen is adding heat to its most popular seats for Harley and Metric bikes. Just like in a luxury vehicle, saddlemen’s heated seats are adjustable by using a 5-level heating controller. The technology allows the rider and passenger to independently select their personal level of warmth.
The adjustable Saddlemen heat controller is designed to be placed wherever you the rider or your passenger want it for ease of use. The easy to install seat with wiring works just like any other installed accessory on your motorcycle. At Saddlemen or your local Drag Specialties or Parts Unlimited dealer.
Doesn’t this defeat the purpose of a motorcycle?
On the contrary, in cold parts of the country this makes it more comfortable to ride later in the season…
I have heated clothing so i can ride on a sunny day when the temp is in the mid 30’s
I’m afraid I’d piss myself and possibly short the system.
Watson (not the computer)
I am scheduled to get one to do a Tech Article on. I will let you know what i think of it.
I ride all over the country in all kinds of weather and even with thermal and other cold weather gear I have still found conditions where a warm seat would be a welcome.
Okay I getting old and spoiled LOL BUT I am still riding when others are not.
For all you below the Mason-Dixon Line, when the temp drops under 60 degrees.
