Kelly, Powell Elected To AMF Board of Directors

Tracey Powell and Kenneth Kelly have been elected to the Antique Motorcycle Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors to fill seats vacated recently by Brenda Teel-Lash and Peter Gagan.  Powell has also been elected an officer of the Board in the position of Secretary. Both have been elected to three-year terms.

Kenneth Kelly, from Long Valley, New Jersey, is President, Chairman of the Board, and Engineering Manager at General Wire & Stamping Company in Randolph, New Jersey.  He is currently President of the North Jersey Colonial Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America and serves on the planning team for the Rhinebeck, New York AMCA National Meet.  His interest in antique motorcycles is broad and diverse, represented by a collection that includes or has included brands from Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, and the United States.

Tracey Powell had a 32-year career at the American Motorcyclist Association where she tracked legislation, served as an executive secretary, and helped plan major events such as Vintage Motorcycle Days and the International Women and Motorcycling Conference.  She and her husband Walker honeymooned with a BMW R69 with Steib sidecar, which they still own.  Over time, they have owned in the neighborhood of 15 motorcycles including a 1952 Indian Chief and a 1937 ULH Harley-Davidson with Goulding sidecar.

The Antique Motorcycle Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation.  Its mission is to support the collection and preservation of all aspects antique motorcycles and motorcycle history, and to tell the story of antique motorcycling to the public at large.
