Harley-Davidson New Edge Cut Fork Slider Covers

Did I see these before proposed by others? Harley just released these one-piece Edge Cut Upper Fork Slider Covers (P/N 45600006, $179.95) finished in rich glossy black powdercoat and machined to expose the raw aluminum casting. The resulting contrasting surfaces complement the Original Equipment satin-finished front end, or are a great complement with accessory black fork sliders and other black front-end accessories. For a complete look, these covers can be paired with available Edge Cut wheels, controls, grips, mirrors and saddlebag latches. Fits 1980-later Harley-Davidson Touring and Trike models. How original, NOT! Wonder where you got the idea to make custom fork bells?

Tell us where you make these Harley… More from your “offshore” line of parts?

Those look a lot like the Ness fork boots. Funny how HD will say if it was not for HD there would be no
v-twin after market but HD seems to get all their ideas from the after market. Who really leads who?

It seems to be a knee jerk response whenever there is something new from HD’s parts line to ask about its country or origin. Is this a generational thing? Just wondering as I grew up during the decline of American manufacturing when we were supposed to move up to a “service” economy.

    I don’t know if it’s a knockoff, but…
I’ve got a thermos style coffee cup that looks just like those. Had it for years.

Not only are they a copy, years late… they’re just OK

Love the bike , hate the factory.

Oh and if your an American Motorcycle it should be made in America!
    End of conversation

The motor company is and always has looked to us “small guys ” for innovative lines for their product!

Ness Deep Cut accessories have been out for several years now. At least Harley shows good taste when they choose who they’re going to copy…
