As part of a rolling kit I understand this but as a stanalone? This type of tank is very often a highly custom piece so I understand the leaving off the caps. However the product lands in an area where if someone needs a low price they will go with a stamped answer and if they are ready to spent up over $600 for a tank that requires little forming there are many metal shops to provide it fully custom made to their own specs.

Agree. Should be sold as part of a frame kit.
