Don’t read your text messages while you ride!
I’d have to check this out in person to see how it clamps onto the phone. I’m concerned it won’t hold up to an 80 MPH wind blast.
Should make it easier for new riders to read and text while riding?
At 80 mph you might have an issue, unless you have fast fingers and great eye sight……

I thought it would be cool to ride my shovelhead with i-Pod a-roaring. I couldn’t get my helmet of choice over my head with the ear buds in my satellite dish ears. I thought about getting different ear buds, but realized I’d have no way to control the play, turn it up/down as needed, change the song, etc. Then I realized how completely moronical it would be do to any of that while riding and buried the whole idea.
I don’t even like to listen to music when I’m working out. I can do about one thing at a time, and that’s on a good day, with no qualifications on how well it goes.
I think I would mount my I-phone behind the wind shield were it won’t get hit by stones, bugs, and whatever else is flying around.
I purchased an ARKON SM032 and love it. It’s lots better than the Cell Buckle (yet another brand of these) because it clamps on with screws, not friction alone, and has a water resistant cover with clear window. Perfect size for GPS. Plus, it doesn’t cost $50 like the one mentioned above. I got it on ebay for $22 and free shipping.
Oh, and the clear plastic window allows those with iphones to utilize their touch screens so that they can text and ride, too!
I’m not trying to text at 80MPH I’m using my phone as a GPS
Should help remove a few more idiots from our roads . . .
On the bike is the one place where I can get away from all that. No thanks! Just hope the dumbass who is fiddling with his doesn’t take me out.
