Tomorrow February 2, 2013 Saddlemen will launch “The Americano” seat at the 13th Annual V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati. The company takes on the classic Café Racer seat and is making it available for Harley-Davidson Sporster models from 1979 to present, with applications for both the peanut or larger classic fuel tanks. The marine-grade vinyl cover is available in a modern perforated finish or in a pleated tuck ‘n roll style to give the bike an added touch of nostalgia. Progressive density foam and SaddleGel construction ensures long-lasting comfort without sacrificing style.

Cafe Racer style? Good looking product, but am I the only one who’s never seen a “Gunfighter” seat on a Cafe Racer?
That humpbacked style seat was around long before the 90’s Gunfighter. If that bike had clip-on bars it would help the overall look.
Class product from one for the best around
All of thier products are A-1
All “New ” ?
Why is it when someone changes just the seat on a bike they classify it as a cafe racer.. Really ! get a grip on yourself … and find out what a cafe racer really is…..
@rr I think the H-D FatBob is a Cafe Racer, it comes with a seat that looks like that, too 😉
Cannot get an answer from saddlemen if and when this will be available, or a price.
