It’s easy to replicate this image.Just put the bike on lumps of wood and jack the rear wheel off the ground setting a fast idle.It sure beats replicating Indian Larrys method of early demise.

Sort of reminds me of Indian Larry’s exploits. He died while performing a similar stunt in front of many onlookers. This guy’s time will likely be limited. Careless and thoughtless come to mind.

We send a thought out for our brother Indian Larry every day …….
But there are other & better ways to emulate someone you admire
This stunt is just STUPID !!!!!!

Forrest Gump got a bike. If it didn’t work for Indian Larry, it won’t work for you. Just stupid.

Do we really need to mention a fabrication veteran who bought the farm doing this?

Let’s review the Sportster model. Popular for 50 yrs. +, never left the HD lineup.

But, the model has also been geared too low for 50+ yrs.

Now, and before now, the esoteric fix for the 1200 Sportster problem has a part number. 🙂
H-D part number 40380-04…30T International trans sprocket, $53. Your bike will come with a 137T belt which will work fine with this sprocket. Removal of the rear exhaust and the trans sprocket cover is all that is required. Pulley nut is left-hand thread and secured with red loctite…heat before attempting removal. – Rick from the XL forum

If you’re going banana-seat surfing, or just plain riding, I’ve found these economical pig-skin gloves to be sliced so thin, were they served as roast beef for dinner, your relatives would never return.

Sorry wrong jacket. That one was unlined. You’d freeze.
This one will will fit correctly, last for seasons, is laundry-proof, and can be worn around spinning machinery.
