Easyriderssaloon1Easyriderssaloon2The Easyriders Saloon and the Jay Allen Roadshow worked together to organize several activities during the rally.

August 3: The Military Tribute Bikes will be showcased from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the “American Veterans Traveling Tribute” (AVTT). The centerpiece of the AVTT is a replica of the Vietnam War Memorial Wall which rests in Washington, D.C. with tributes to World War II and the Korean War, a panel of time lines for the Vietnam War and a tribute to the individuals from 9/11. Law enforcement, fire and other emergency personnel will also be remembered.

The Military Tribute Bikes were inspired by Jay’s Army Bike which received enormous attention over the years. Jy started in 2012 a custom bike build project to commemorate the 25th year of Rolling Thunder in Washington DC. Jay selected four of the most talented builders to complete the tribute to each military branch; Air Force Tribute Bike by Billy Lane, Navy Tribute Bike by Dan Holdsworth, Marine Tribute Bike by B. Bourget, Coast Guard Tribute Bike by Mike Thomas, Army Tribute Bike by Jay Allen. The goal was to take these tribute bikes on the road to create awareness at the largest rallies in the world and in vet hospitals.
