StevenTyler1The world premiere of the new SPORTEC™ M7 RR supersport tires and of the custom touring ME 888 MARATHON™ Ultra in a Whitewall version and new 23 inch front size will take place at the Metzeler Legendary Knight, a free open bar event that will also feature two special guest stars to launch the new products, both of whom are avid users and admirers of tires from the brand with the blue elephant: Steven Tyler, frontman Aerosmith and spokesperson of Dirico Motorcycles and British racer Guy Martin.

,Steven Tyler is well known as the singer and front man from the Aerosmith rock band, as well as being an ardent fan of custom motorcycles. No negative comment (yet) about Steven Tyler being a biker?

Whether he’s a biker or not, he’s so rich and famous he could call himself the Premier of Russia and it wouldn’t make any difference. Rock on!

That’s the crazed “look” that’s sweeping through sports.

Guy Martin, a British icon of road races such as the legendary Isle of Man Tourist Trophy, perfectly represents the best technology and features of the new GuyMartinsupersport tire from Metzeler.

Why on Earth does a great tire company need freaky dudes to parade around in order to sell them?

Steven Tyler promoting Metzler 888 Marathon Tyres? Guy Martin kicks ass as does anyone who rides the Isle of Man TT. Hats of to them! All of those racers have gasoline running thru their veins! I love Metzlers and recommend them highly and am about to go ride on a set right now. But now I have the nagging question in the back of my head, “has Steven Tyler ever worn out a set of tires?”

its a dam shame …. after selling metzlers for over 10 years ,
i constantly reported to to metzler australia that we were having
delamination issues with 21″ me 880 front tyres
it was a bitch fight to get a warranty out of them !

i hope they think of thier dealers feedback somewhat more importantly with the 888
