It should be a bobber style model and will be powered by the powerful Victory fuel-injected, counter-balanced Freedom® 106/6 V-Twin delivering 110 ft-lb of torque. The most interesting news, until we see the Gunner on February 8, is the fact that Victory Motorcycles has decided to announce a new 2015 model so early in the year.
There may be at least 2 good marketing reasons to do so. On November 4, 2013 Harley-Davidson has already revealed the new Street 500 & 750 models to be launched in the USA this Spring (date to be confirmed) Polaris is probably going to launch its new 2015 Indian models before or during Sturgis Bike Week, close to the reveal of Harley-Davidson own 2015 lineup. During the coming 6-month period, Victory Motorcycles, Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles are going to launch their specific marketing blitz, fight for media coverage and for commendable reviews. More than ever, choice is coming to you…starting February 8.
Impatient to see how Victory is going to position the new model versus Indian.
If it comes with holsters molded into the side panels and they launch a Victory branded line of firearms that’s be cool. And an industry first I believe…
Exciting. Long time we didn’t hear from Victory. Cyril, at what time you will publish the Gunner on feb. 8? Can you tell us more?
They probably want to get it out by Daytona Bike Week, and the spring buying season.
Funny over here Gunner is a nick name we give to lazy bullshitters
They are always gunner do this or gunner do that.
Might not look good here or Australia…lol
Hmm, might be the next incarnation of the High-ball?
Solo seat factory bobber is my guess. Nothing drastic.
Very interested to see the Gunner & what it’s comparable to with H-D & Indian
I hope they just don’t drop the High Ball (Luv it) or the Judge (Luke Warm since the redesign)
Hoping to get some info on it at the V-Twin Expo
GEEZZZZZZ now what victory’s version of Willy G’s or CVO bikes ?
Keep them coming Victory. Can’t wait to see what you’ve got.
Bring it on!
Would have loved to see a Cafe similar to Zack”s..
But am looking forward to seeing this also
Dave.I can’t think of anything that would be much worse to ride than a big, long, low, slow and heavy “café racer” with clipon bars.I hope the new bike is something more like a stripped bobber.
I guessing the highball with different bars, a round headlight and maybe a 21″ wheel up front, but all the same swoopy modern Japanese body work as used across the entire Victory range.
Let’s hope it’s got swoopy modern Japanese style bodywork. We’ve already got plenty of choices for old fashioned bulbous Mr. Potato Head styled bikes out there already.
