Progressive Suspension New ULTRA-LOW Shocks For Harley Touring Models

944-ultra-low-1944-ultra-low-2New for the Harley FL platform, Progressive Suspension introduces the ULTRA LOW version of their 944 series Harley touring shocks. Designed to sit 2” lower than a stock HD Touring model (1” lower on a Street Glide), the brand new 944 ULTRA-LOW is the lowest version of Progressive Suspension’s 944 Series shocks.

Want your bike in the weeds or struggling to reach the ground? The 944 Ultra Low is the shock conceived for the job. The company claims that it is the best ride possible in a lowered shock.

By combining Frequency Sensing Technology damping and a dual spring, this 12.5” shock sits at 11” when on the bike, yet droops to full length when the terrain requires it, potholes and such.

Fits 1980 to 2015 Harley-Davidson FLH/FLT MODELS. Like most of Progressive’s shocks the 944 Ultra Low is available in standard or heavy spring rates and supported with a lifetime limited warranty. Contact your local dealer for more information. Progressive Suspension.

Yes well shortening shockers is always a compromise of sort, yet for the vertically challenged (gee I hate PC) I mean all you short asses out there, this could well be a worthwhile compromise. I’ve run various Progressive shockers for years and they have always performed very well indeed.

What HD should do is made a mid sized bagger that sits lower perhaps based on the 1200 sportster. Who needs a 800 lb slug anyways. Having said that, I’ll stick to the stock length shocks on mine even if it’s difficult to back up on an irregular gravel road.

I know a lady loving her bagger despite the fact she is struggling to find her footing when stopping. Forwarded to her.
