To go along with the shocks, seat , exhaust, bars, windshield, etc. that need to be upgraded. It would be scary to see the MSRP on a HD that was ready to go, CVO is close,I guess.

You could recoup some by selling all the take off parts at a swap meet.

Just so you can be even more irritating to ride near…

Too many really GOOD aftermarket sound systems out there
That cost (a lot) less & put out more volume/ watts per channel than the Motor Company
If it was that good it would be standard equipment
    Thanks, but No Thanks !!!!

Why when a dude with speakers rides by does he always tend to be listening to one of about 6 songs:
Thunderstruck, Black Betty, Crazy B@tch, you get the idea. Mix up that mixed tape! The tunes are getting stale!

P.S. If you think riding down Lazalle or Main Street in Sturgis with your tunes cranked to max volume makes you look cool, you are wrong. Others are looking at you with derision and trying to spot your bedazzled headband and Affliction t-shirt to verify that you are, in fact, a tool.

Chris you are exactly right. When some tool has his tunes cranked up at low speed, I always tell my wife, ” Oh look, another asshole that just discovered his radio”.

  8. 8 HD audio sucks Jun 6th, 2015 at 4:20 am

HD audio and radios sucked in 2003 and they still suck in the 2015 road glide, and the dealers are clueless when it come to correctly flashing the radios to accommodate after market amplifiers.
And the HD Boom system…….is a joke !! Don’t waste your money, do a little research as there are much better option out there.
