The 2015 edition (January 23-24) was motorcycle madness in and out with a new attendance record from visitors (thank you the weather), from vendors from all other Europe and a larger than ever representation of the American motorcycle industry, and of course more than 200 custom bikes representing all styles from Cafe Racers to Scramblers to Choppers to baggers, to styles and themes that can’t be defined in one word or two… In addition to those featured here last week., a few more to keep you in touch with what European builders are doing across the Atlantic ocean. (with the help and photography @ Horst Roesler)
Although published last week, a couple more pictures of the work of Winston Yeh, the new shooting star of the custom building scene. “Graphite Speedster” is getting him a lot of international attention. A “fake rigid frame” (mono shock under the seat). Built in his “Rough Crafts” shop in Taiwan and touring the world for recognition and trophies.
An all aluminum Buell by “Garage 65” (Marco Cinquini & team) Although impossible to see on these pictures, the tank is part of the frame and holds the engine. Incredible!
The best of Old School style. Lots of handmade parts went under the knife for beautiful engraving. A rigid frame, rounded Shovelhead covers, narrow bars, hand shift, a minimum of parts and a lot of style for a very ready to ride chopper. “Sucker Punch” was built by “Radikal Chopper Milano”
A superb old style racer style Knucklehead with superb craftsmanship and detailing by the “Pinto Di Fuga, Motociclette” team, the new shop from born from Abnormal Cycles. And if you need entertainers to animate a party all night long, invite these guys and your guests will remember it…
“Nickel & Dime” is a beautifully restored Harley Flathead engine with polished heads, cradled in a very clean lines frame. Dum front brake, disc rear brake. A rider built by a shop whose cool name is “Mom’s Worry Speed Shop”…
A Triumph (very) Lowrider with 100% handmade front end, frame, and almost everything else. Swiss quality precision crafted hand controls. Built by the wild man from Spain Pedro Sabiote.
The long and high neck chopper is alive! Here is the Italian version with very clean Latin influence lines and details. Built by a shop called Only Machine.
4 more bikes after the jump.
The team of “Garage Inc” must love trying the impossible. Steering with the rear wheel! A wire with lever mechanism placed atop the gas tank is directing the swingarm left and right while the wheel is driven by a rotating friction drum!!! Huh…
A Cafe Racer styled Harley Sportster keeping the original frame and engine with new upgraded components like upside down forks, modified rear suspension. Named 57 by its builder Matt Black.
A criminals inspired 1948 Model U Harley customized on the “Bonnie & Clyde” theme with high quality airbrush and a plethora of vintage Built by Modena, Italiy shop “Iron Born”
A weird fairing and bodywork, unusual colors for a motorcycle, make this Harley…noticeable. At least, the builder didn’t copy anyone and has his own ideas. From a new shop in Switzerland named “GS Mashin”
Bet none of them run!
Rodent being wrong most of the times, I bet they all run.
‘ Something genuinely new … Something genuinely new ! My kingdom just for once to see something coming out of the custom M/C world of late that is truly and genuinely new ! ‘
Rather than the constant barrage of retro-pastiches that keep showing up worldwide
BTW – As to the above displayed bikes … I’ll bet they all ‘run’ but only 7 of the 11 are actually rideable
They are show bikes not riders and probably have very few running minutes on them
“They are show not riders and probably have very few running minutes on them” – thats you rodent!
While not all may be exactly to every one’s taste….
They certainly are fun to look at.
(basic motorcycles with lots of fiddly-bits to discoverable)
And i suspect that was the idea…. Wasn’t it……???

Leave it to the europeans to interpret the most unusual V-twins going…they push something on these..not exactly my deal, but they are creative…which is what these shows are for…just dont make me ride one…

I’ve ridden more miles on 2 and 3 wheeled vehicles than most of the so called “bikers” in the past 50 years.
Who cares if they run, I go to bike shows to see the art of the motorcycle and the creativity of the builders and appreciate Cyril sharing these designs from around the globe. If I want to see a bunch of stock HDs ridden by “real bikers” I”ll got to the local hooters on a Sat or Sun afternoon.
Shocking, more negative comments by TJ Martin. He must be upset because he keeps blowing fuses for his LED lights on his Goldwing.
Ding! Ding! Ding! MDSPHOTO hit the bull’s eye. Later Jay
