Corbin introduced a Classic Style Solo seat with a wide range of custom options for the the 2015 Indian Scout. It accepts a Corbin removable backrest for a total of 12 inches of vertical back support. The sculpted seating position gives maximized body contact and provides touring quality comfort.
This neutralized seat platform offers an easier reach to the ground and a more ergonomic position on the bike. the narrow nose provides ground reach similar to Indian’s reduced reach model while the neutralized seating area allows taller riders to scoot back for leg room
Corbin’s removable rider backrest is simple to install and adjusts easily to your posture. Just slide the backrest shaft into the internal hardware of the Classic Solo and lock it in place with a single bolt. You can then set the backrest where you want it and lock it in place with the easily accessible adjustment screw… no need to remove the saddle.
A wide range of leather styles and colors is offered. Optional chrome studs provide an added nostalgic touch (included at no charge, just specify). At Corbin 800-538-7035. During Daytona Bike Week, at Corbin Florida 1433 US Highway 1, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
Why would you go through the time and effort to design and make such a nice vintage style seat and then ruin it by plastering your ugly logo on it! That’s like spending hours baking a fancy cake then placing a dead cockroach on top!
Big ego? M. Corbin is the seat maker with the biggest brand name logo on all his seats. How many sales lost because of this? A top notch upholstery shop would never do this.
The seat looks too small for most of the ere, “heavier” people I have risen with.
LOL,,,,hey Matt don’t hold back
I agree, the Corbin logo is too large. People who don’t know what the bike really is will be coming up and saying, “Corbin? I’ve never heard of that brand of motorcycle before. What year is it?”
Hay, if your proud of your stuff you put your name on it.
Nothing wrong with that.
(if there is i’m sure the market will quickly tell ya…….. 🙂
-nicker-
Matt – LOL!
Can we call it the cockroach-couch?
Agree with nicker !!!
Looks like a good seat but the proof is always in the “Sitting”
if people like it they buy it no matter what Mr Corbin puts on it
(& he made it so he allowed to do anything he wants with it)
If people don;t like it they won;t buy it.
Simple, let the market decide!
It always does !!!!!
Most aftermarket parts have someone’s logo on it – called branding like when you brand a cow. You want your name on it.
If you don’t like it, get out a fine tip Sharpie and go to work.
