    Are they better than Brembo?

Why do these guys have to plaster their names/initials all over their products? It just takes away from an initially clean design…

While I like RSD designed stuff, to me, when it comes to something as important as brake calipers, I’m gonna stick with trusted brands like Brembo, Tokico, Wilwoods, etc….

Calipers are more than just a couple pistons set into some metal pieces with brake-fluid passing through them. It’s been documented that some of the aftermarket companies who do-not specialize in caliper design/manufacturing have had catastrophic failures to lesser cases, perform worse than OEM.

I’m sure RSD did their homework on fluid and thermodynamics when designing their calipers, but I’m gonna stick with guys who do it solely for a living, simply because, other than the wheels and tires holding together…calipers are the most important component on your bike.

It’s no secret, these are Performance Machine calipers branded for RSD. Performance Machine has been a brake manufacturer for something like 40+ years. You can trust their product.

I’m guessing plenty of homework has been done by RSD. He’s the son of Perry Sands of Performance Machine fame whose original claim to fame was aftermarket brakes. I love the styling of Roland’s components as he seems to have a good feel for what the next Generation of riders are looking for.
