Power Management With A Solid State Module. The PDM60.

pdm-60A Norwalk, Iowa company, Rowe Electronics, has released their PDM60 product, and it has just completed its one million cycle testing. The PDM60 is a product that makes the old methods of power distribution and circuit protection look like stone age solutions. Think of the unit as a fully digital fuse box/panel…. only there are no fuses to replace, and no relays to wear out. The PDM60 is a game changer. Historically, powering and protecting 12V electrical systems and accessories has been less than orderly. A fuse or two here and there, relays strewn about here and there, some rabbits nest wiring to connect it all up……

It doesn’t have to be that way anymore. The PDM60 is fully solid state. That means there are no replaceable, or moving parts; nothing to blow, corrode, or wear out.

Best of all, the unit is completely user programmable via the free PDM60 dashboard software using the included programming cable. You can set your circuit amperage levels, circuit triggering/switching methods, and delay circuit activation/deactivation times. It’s slick. The unit has six power circuits, and 60 Amps of total power handling capability; it’s enough to handle all of your gadgets and accessories. The unit’s electronics are fully encapsulated in a high quality potting material. It is absolutely impervious to weather conditions and exposed mounting locations. The PDM60 at Rowe Electronics.

    Very cool.

Only 170 bucks at motorcycle superstore – a good price for no more fuze/breaker issues.
