First of David’s Commemorative Paintings Of The 75th Sturgis Rally

DavidUhlFreeSpiritSince 2005, artist David Uhl has created each year a special piece for the Sturgis rally. Titled “Free Spirit”, this piece features Betsy Huelskamp in a beautiful setting with Bear Butte in the distance. David’s hand-signed, numbered, canvas giclee prints are now available. Beautifully framed with a commemorative plaque documenting the Sturgis 75th, each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Matching numbers are available for those who want to add this to their existing Sturgis Commemorative Collection. Edition numbers will be assigned as orders are taken, so you are encouraged to act quickly.

Similar to past Sturgis pieces, the edition’s special Rally prices are available only through the end of this year’s rally (August 9, 2015). Specifics: “Regular” – image size appx 26.5 x 20, framed price $895. “Jumbo” – image size appx 40 x 30, framed price $2,250. Shipping is included within the contiguous 48 United States. If you look-up “Free-Spirit” in the encyclopedia you’ll most likely find a photo of “Biker” Betsy. If you ever get the chance buy the lady a beer and start her talking about her experiences. On second thought you’ll want to consider buying her a 12-pack. Betsy is one of those rare highly attractive women that doesn’t give off a “haughty” vibe. She’s approachable and tends to give almost everyone the benefit of the doubt.

When you get the chance; Google her, find her writings and enjoy her ability to turn a phrase. She possess a special facility to express the human condition.

I don’t need to wish Betsy a great time in Sturgis. It’s a foregone conclusion that she’ll be partying at ninety miles per hour with her hair on fire!

Guess you have really made it when Mr Uhl does a painting of you. I imagine she asked for the Eagle to be painted in ?

Agree with Nicker, no e-bikes, I phones, plastic money or people.
