Think about it. The 76th Anniversary of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is only in 1 year… Wednesday August 5th, Mayor Mark Carstensen along with City Manager Daniel Ainslie and numerous SMRi board members were on hand to unveil the 76th logo on historic Main Street in downtown Sturgis at the East Photo Tower just West of Junction Avenue. The unveiling of the logo marks the beginning of the Sturgis® preparation cycle, which continues throughout the year until next August. With legendary roots in the Black Hills, the Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally™ is the worlds largest. “This year’s 75th Anniversary Sturgis® Rally was truly something special,” said Sturgis Mayor Mark Carstensen. “But it’s just one rally—we’re about the Sturgis® institution, the totality, and that’s why we felt it important to unveil the 76th logo with as much fanfare and enthusiasm as we did for the 75th.”

Drake
So what, haha
Hey, Rodent. I was at the 75th and can’t wait to come back for the 76th. You don’t go? Great. Less traffic.
George Reyno: Move to Sturgis then you can be 1st for 76th.
Rodent has no money to afford Sturgis. He is jealous. There is no interest to discuss anything with this loser.
Drake:
It was my choice not to contribute to goughing in Sturgis. I pick and choose the events I attend and after 30 or so times at Sturgis, with the decline starting with the closure of City Park camping it was a downhill slide and not enjoyable. Hope everyone who went got their money’s worth of fun.
Not for nothing: having ridden the best roads in New Mexico, Colorado, California, the first 2 or 3 times I went to Sturgis I rode all around the Black Hills. Back then the number of attendees was much less and the roads less crowded. I enjoyed riding them but I wouldn’t rate them as high as the other roads in other states. For example: The Taos Loop, Colorado’s Million Dollar Highway, and the best of all California SR 1 from San Simeon north to its end in Leggett.
CANT BELIEVE PEOPLE STILL BITCHING AND MOANING ABOUT STURGIS
AND THE goughing in Sturgis.
