Cast Aluminum Is Back For Custom Motorcycle Parts

1lowbrow12lowbrow1Of course, not to the point to replace any time billet aluminum machining. But if you are into the retro look, the old methods of casting (die, permanent mold and sand casting) are appropriate to produce parts reminiscent of the old days of motorcycling. Cast aluminum has a timeless soulful look that is hard to argue with.

As example, this line of cast aluminum master cylinder covers for a wide array of Harley-Davidson models from 1982 to 2015, for both front and rear master cylinders.

Finned or Fish Scale pattern buffed to a lustrous shine or black electroplated. Your choice of style and finish for only $44.95. At Lowbro Customs or call toll-free 1-855-456-9276.

If you go cast, go all the way. But there are not enough custom cast parts available to makeover a modern factory bike into a retro version.

EMD (Esteves Motorcycle Design) has all engine covers, fork covers and other cast covers to turn modern scoots into retro looking machines. Great quality too.
