    -Yes-
Human nature is such that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
George Washington being among the few exceptions.

    But look around ya today…..
Certainly not “ALL” of us can “stand Adversity.” Quite to the contrary, judging by the fact that about half are on some form of assistance, one can make the case that increasingly fewer of us are capable of withstanding of even an 8 hour power-outage.

The sad part is that its become a voluntary condition….. we want the “Fruits” but are unwilling ot put forth the “Labor.” You want to call yourself a biker but are unwilling to even do drive chain maintenance…… let alone actually learn how to ride….

And so the rest of us have to put up with the fallout of the incessant yammering for “Safety”….. Not to mention mandates for increased complexity like anti lock brakes…… ๐Ÿ™

What’s next? Google “self riding bikes”….???

I agree with you Nicker. Obviously there are people with real problems beyond their control. God help them. But many Americans have chosen “victim” status because it is the path to entitlements. This changes the mindset from self-sufficiency to dependent. And, to my horror, it feeds the the will of the country’s political class that the masses be dependent. Live free or die.

How many bikers are going to vote for our clown Donald Trump? It says the lot about the collapse of America.

I would vote for Trump. Much better than what we have now.

    RE:
    “…our clown Donald Trump?…”

Well, as i see it the issue this elections isn’t going to be about “clownishness” as much as its gonna be about the damage “Political Correctness” has done to this country.

For years the Progressive Left has been slowly taking over the terms of the political debate by increasingly limiting the context it would “allow.” The expression of concepts and philosophies were literally taken off the table because of their presumed “offensiveness.”

For example, qualified epidemiologists were not allowed to bring up the fact that the massive wave of illegals moving into CA were bringing in with them diseases (like polio & TB) that had long ago been eradicated here.

    Think about the issue from this perspective;
Any debates over Political Correctness ends up a banal exchange of politically “correct speak” so as not to offend any one. Wallow in the same BS that your trying to repudiate solves nothing.
But when the debate is couched in terms of calling “a spade a fucking shovel” there is no room for the same old touchy-feely BS.

And so i for one revel in The Donald’s antics.
I just wish he’d ask Bush to explain “the new world order” and why he thinks his mother would tell us she actually had “three sons”…. to me that would be more entertaining than what he thinks of anyone’s looks.

    But that’s me……
