Do it your way, whatever your budget, your brand and bike model, whenever you have time. Building stuff is very rewarding on many levels. Nobody asking you to re-invent the motorcycle. When I saw these non-American low budget bikes built by 3 friends who are not full time professional builders in Barcelona, Spain (a country where you are not allowed to change the geometry or cut anything, unless it has been inspected and signed off by an engineer…) I thought it would illustrate my purpose. If you love motorcycles, start something now…

Those are really nice, reminds me of what we did in our teens when tools were limited and none of us (my group of friends) knew how to weld anyway. Good times.
YES! YES! YES! Proof that “Less is better”.
A friend found a CB 350 Honda leaning on a tree where we use to ride our mini bikes and bicycles as kids . It had caught fire . Friend pushed it home , with in 2 months , he had it running and his own “trail” bike . The whole time he had it the rear knobby tire had a large burn mark on it . no money for a new tire back then . That Kawi reminds me of that bike .
Very Nice !!!
