F@%K Cancer. Let’s Ride A Trike.

1urbantrike2urbantrikeAs a 8-year breast cancer survivor Debbie McFarlane knows tomorrow isn’t promised. She has learned that life is too short not to try new things.

A few years ago she purchased her very own Sportster with plans to ride with her Harley riding son. After completing the motorcycle safety course she set out to conquer riding her own.

After spending some time in the parking lot she felt she needed to make some changes so the bike could fit her better. Her custom shop Urban Custom Bikes (Jeremy & Jessica Ruse) made a few tweaks & changes, then Debbie developed a case of chrome addiction. After the second round of upgrades was completed, she made the decision that converting the Sportster into a trike would give her the confidence she wanted on the road.

Urban Custom Bikes ordered a Paugcho trike kit along with the Hot Rod body kit & matching fenders. Decision was made to fabricate body louvers reminiscent of the old school Rat Rod look with matching T taillights. For front suspension Paughco hand twisted one their Springer front ends. Flat black paint, chrome, brass and of course pink wheels make a statement about who is riding and why. Especially when you notice the pink cup holder and in the rear the words F@%K Cancer.

    Debbie… how very cool…!!!

Your attitude is the real deal.
Make em build the ride you want.

The minute you look to someone lease to figure out who you are, you’ve stepped out of the game.
Do it your way and love every minute of it.
You don’t need anyone else to be yourself.
    Survivors believe in themselves.
    Life doesn’t get any better-n-that.

    You go girl…..!!!

Urban Customs has always seemed to be on the top of their game. I always keep an eye on the builds they are doing. Big wheels… Big Horsepower…. a match made in heaven.
