Last weekend December 4-6 was held the 11th edition of the Custombike Show organized by Huber Vermlag Gmbh & Co, publisher of European magazine CustomBike in Bad Salzuflen, Germany. A first opportunity to gauge the state of the European custom motorcycle scene before we enter 2016. An attendance of 30,000 visitors came to admire about 300 custom bikes, to check out the products of 800 exhibitors and the new models of mc manufacturers, some never present at the former shows like MV Augusta. During 3 days an on-stage build-off competition between Belorussian Juri Shif and German Müller Motorcycles (the teams exchanged and drunk alcohol of unknown origin during the builds…) and on Sunday the bike show winners being called on stage. I will feature some of the best bikes in the coming weeks.

Sculpted light gray & white tank on the knuck looks really fine, would love to see the rest of that bike for sure.
Some cool bikes. Looks like a cool event.
The bottom picture, a Norton? Very sweet.
Like to look at these postcards from abroad because I always see different stuff.
Mine is the red one.
good to see those low life frames still out there
Really like the super clean Thunderbike Customs bike right above the Parts Europe pic.
What is the motor in the 3rd bike down? Doesn’t look Harley with heads flipped around
Certainly some “unusual” stuff.
Cool to see things that aren’t commonly found here.
Can’t recall ever seeing more than two other side-valve Triumphs around the SF Bay.
Cool….!!!
-nicker-
I like the ones that blend artistry with functionality.
Some very nice bike there
Some not so much
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Another place for the “Bucket List” !!!
That little red number with the springer front end is hot, the rest not so much.
They let Gene Slater in there ? Scary..
Dear friends,
The organicers are a small publishing house called Huber Verlag from Mannheim with some magazines called BIKERS NEWS, DREAM MACHINES, CUSTOMBIKE, ROADSTER and more. We do all this things to make the fair happen.
In the last years we had ventors from Germany, Austria, Nederlands, Swizerland, Belgium, France, England, Spain, Japan, Taiwan, Dubai, Bellarus, Lietuva, Poland, Chech, Slovenia, Danmark, Sweden, Finland, Slovakia, USA and a lot of more.
Some informations to the bikes: The engine of the third bike is a Suzuki Intruder in a self made frame from a company in Berlin, the bike with the trailor comes from Netherlands and uses a engine from a Opel-car.
if you have more questions, just ask.
Greetings from Germany, Jenso

Thanks for sharing some of Horst reporting for us Cyril, glad he actually captured our team at the booth with the folks from Parts Europe. Sorry I had to miss it, great time of year and very creative talents in the building for CustomBike. I would definitely reccommend the show to anyone! We appreciate you showing us all the latest so we can live vicariously and see what makes others smile in the creative realm.
Terrible stuff. God. Not to mention they all dress alike.
