Organized by respected European journalist and promoter Frank Sander, the second edition of the Custom Show Emirates in Abu Dhabi will host a big bike show with some of the best builders of the Middle East, of Europe and of the USA.. For entertainment, first a Biker Build-off with an on-stage battle between German stainless steel specialist Aykut Tartaroglu of AT American Cycles against Dubai’s Hassan Alablooshi, who is already well known for his hubless Suzuki Hayabusa Turbo.
Then, during all weekend motorcycle stunt shows, and in cooperation with SEMA a car show featuring hot-rods, tuning cars coming from the UAE, Europe, Australia, China and the USA . And for more noise and smoke, Drift Shows by Japanese DriftCars. The event is held close to the famous Formula 1 “Yas Marina Circuit” and “Ferrari World” entertainment center. Abu Dhabi is at about 1.50 h driving distance from Dubai. For visitors dealers and exhibitors who want to escape their dull, grey and cold winter, more info is available at Custom Show Emirates.

Nothing better than long flowing robes and an open primary ☺
I was also wondering. How do they dress when they ride? Same as any bikers?
No longer the Iron Horse. Now the Iron Camel. I didn’t see any woman in thongs displaying the bikes.
Doesn’t look like much fun, ugly bikes, no hot woman, and worst of all most likely no beer. ..Z
Correction, my wife says no woman at all. ..Z
Tie their dresses up to keep them out of the spokes??
Do they change into mini dresses? Black camel leather dresses?
Piles of money waiting to be spent on toys that will never be ridden, so no warranty or service concerns.
Under the robes, I’m sure it’s black jeans, black t-shirt, black vest with bunch of patches and pins, and black boots. The open primary is like the phone booth to Superman. Fire up the bike and WHAM-O! the primary strips off the robe and leaves you with a bonafide looking biker dude.
It is funny to read the comments here…. I visit the guys a lot of times from Germany and i saw a lot of really cool handmade bikes, made in UAE, like Lycan Customs, Strokers, Chopper Culture and a lot more. (Some you can find here on the blog) The guys ride every weekend hundreds of miles to visit other bikers and i promise you, they party like we in Europe or in the US…By the way, you can get Beer and Jack in every bar and riding from October to March is really cool. I don’t want to start a discussion about UAE and other Countrys and cultures, i only can say, the bikers over there are like us and i never saw one in a robe on the highway 🙂
