These Kliphanger Handlebars feature machined “Klamps” allowing the control/grip portion of the handlebar to be positioned exactly where you want your wrists to be. After adjustment, the “klamps” are locked into place with the same technology used on clip-on race bars. Handlebars are offered in several heights and with different pullback styles to fit a wide range of preferred riding positions. The manufactured bar portions are 1” and 1-1/4” DOM tubing, drilled/slotted for internal wiring, and work with heated grips.
Fitments are available for most Harley-Davidson models (Dyna, Sportster, FXR), for Victory Cross Country, and now for Indian Chieftain, Roadmaster, Chief Vintage and Classic, Darkhorse, Scout and Scout 60. They come in chrome and black combinations. The chrome hardware, chrome billet aluminum dome bar end caps and complete installation instructions are included. For questions regarding fitments or availability, please call 605-996-3700. At Kustom Baggers or your Drag Specialties dealer.
What is the risk that the moving part gets loose? Is it only me?
Almost zero if after you find your hands position you red loctite the adjustable part.
Same system most bikes use to hold the bars to the top tree, and there’s more force applied there so shouldn’t be a problem. I might not use them on a sidecar application personally, especially if if one were to fly it “by accident” 😉 Dunno about on a trike conversion with stock trees either, but that’s just me.
we have been selling them for 4 years and have hade NO PROBLEMS they are stronger them OEM bars.
I’ve always had problems getting bars to fit me and these are great!
No problems with unwanted movement either.
I think it is a awesome idea.
Kind of like tilt wheel on a bike. I think they are pretty cool. I would buy them if I could afford them. Be nice to have the bars tilt back and forth with heavy duty spring lock. Great idea.
More evidence that Victory / Indian (Polaris ) is here to stay
When I decide on a Cross country Tour or a Roadmaster,
one of the first places I’m contacting is Brian at Klock Werks to get a set of these
