At the unforgiving legendary El Mirage, home to Land Speed Racing for more than half a century, motorcycle history was written again on May 19 when Chris Rivas & S&S Cycle, racing in the 3000 APS-PBG Class, did a pass at the extraordinary speed of 228.264 mph.

Congratulations Chris. Not an overnight success either. He has been working at it long and hard. I believe I also saw his daughter make licensing runs . Keep up the good work. Bonneville is next.
