Pet On Wheels To Carry Your Pet On Two Wheels Safe And Practical

peton2wheelsYour pet is your partner for life. But it can be dangerous and even illegal to transport it on your 2-wheeler depending how you do it. A startup company is offering a hard pet carrier to transport it safely, anytime, anywhere. The Pet On Wheel (POW) is not larger than a single-helmet top case. By strapping the top holder with the seat belt, the Pet On Wheels can be used on your motorcycle, either positioned facing to the front or to the rear.

Inside the POW, the pet can relax comfortably on the included pillow, as two intakes provide fresh air while on the move. In the center of the pivoting lid a large hole with a sliding cover allows for the four-legged passenger to sit up with its head out of the carrier – dogs will probably enjoy this feature the most. An adjustable leash that attaches to the inside of the POW ensures that no one jumps out during the journey. More info at Kickstarter POW.

    Dogs like motorcycles.

I think the drivers around you would probably enjoy this more than the dog itself.

Shouldn’t the dog have a helmet since he’s locked in a steam bath on your back? Just saying.

“Lops” than force a little dog with short legs to run along their bike, while they pedal down the street should be warned publicly. I never let the opportunity pass without comment, and then I never see them do it again. Not on our street.

We strap our Corgi/Chihuahua mix in the bottom half of a military surplus case that we use as a top box on our scooter. Once he got used to Doggles it worked out well. On the other hand, if we ever want to bring our Black Lab/Great Dane mix with us, we’ll need a sidecar.
