Harley-Davidson May Reintroduce A Dyna Sport Glide Model. US and European trademark registrations have been filed by Harley-Davidson for the name Sport Glide. Harley ceased production of the FXRT Sport Glide in 1993 after a 10-year run. It’s possible that a new Dyna Sport Glide would be a mid-weight tourer with fairing. Although there is no way to know for sure, such a model could be introduced as a 2017 model this coming September.

Indian Motorcycle Eyes 15% Market Share In India. Total Of 12 Dealers In 2016. The domestic super premium bikes market in India is still small. About 1000 units. In 2016 Polaris Motorcycles aim for a 15% market share in the 1,200cc-plus segment. Polaris will also double its showrooms from the present six dealers to 12. For now, the market is too low to justify local. Currently the bikes are shipped in from the Spirit Lake Iowa plant. In the country, Polaris is the leader in off-road and all-terrain vehicles (for recreational and utility purposes), snowmobiles, motorcycles and electric-powered vehicles) in the country, serving the Army, BSF, ITBP and many state police forces since the past four decades.Fast Motorcycle

Dyna Sport Glide should be cool.
All the hipsters on the west coast are into FXRTs these days.
Funny, when those bikes were new, nobody wanted one.
Now, guys realize that they are very functional bikes, but the fairing and bags take a little getting used to. Like 20 years.
I can’t imagine how many FXRT/FXRP fairings and bags ended up in the trash over the years.
The press release from before the race:
“The new Victory RR electric motorcycle has been developed over the past year using data gathered during last year’s TT Zero…”
After the race, the get:
“The Victory RR bike and program came together over the span of less than six months, so we really couldn’t ask for more. Hopefully next year we’ll have the chance to improve further” said Victory Racing Team Manager, Brian Wismann.
