Jerry Covington builds many custom and one-off baggers and knows a few things about what make them comfortable for the long haul. And grips play a bigger role than what most riders think.
Conceived to feel and look good, these grips are CNC machined billet aluminum with dimpled caps and wrapped in thick rubber offering both smoothness and excellent traction.
Available for 1” bars for cable and fly by wire throttles, in chrome or black. Made in the USA. Covington Customs.
Re-branded Avons?
Those look exactly like Avon air-cushion grips…I’ve put them on my metric and my dad’s Road King, served me well during each cross country trip
That would probably explain why they say Avon right on the grip…
Woody that cracked me up. The grips look nice and Avon air cushion grips are one of the best there is,
Avon-Made in USofA 🙂
Tdo the dimples make your bike more aerodynamic, like on a golf ball? If so, then everyone should get a set. Go green!
GWAAAD – the comments section is on a roll again, LOL!
Shanedrive: seems it has gone ‘US-soft-A’ – as in WHERE HAVE ALL THE REAL BIKERS GONE??? There was a time when real men went coast to coast, on hardtails, with frame-mounted seats!
They better make the bike more aerodynamic for a $26 premium over the regular Avon grips.
