New Harley-Davidson Defiance Rider Floorboards

defiancefootboardsFor those who opt for non-conformist Bagger style may be interested by the new Defiance Rider Footboard Kit (P/N 50500527 Machine Cut, $429.95*) from Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories.

The extended length and sweeping shark-fin curves of these custom footboards maintain a long and lean appearance. Gleaming machine-cut highlights expose shimmering aluminum through a rich black anodized finish.

For a finishing touch a perforated-rubber pad is recessed into the surface. The length of these footboards offers options for foot repositioning while riding. Defiance Rider Footboard Kits are also available in chrome (P/N 50500515, $399.95*) and black anodized (P/N 50500640, $399.99*). Each kit includes left and rider footboards and fit 2000-later Softail®, 2009-13 Trike models, and 2000-later Touring models.

The Defiance Collection includes a variety of hand- and foot-controls, air cleaner trim, and muffler end caps in a choice of three finish options. Available at more than 750 authorized retail locations in the United States and online. Prices at local dealerships may vary.

$429.95 + tax for a set of floorboards? Where’s Rod Serling? I must have woke up today in the Twilight Zone!!

No Thanks. The whole reason for foot boards is utility to me. The half round style look fine and offer more foot positions for long travel.

I defiantly refuse to pay that much for floorboards!

Hang on !!!!!!! if you own a Bagger you are a conformist.

The cazy MF and MF ettes that roam on Rigids and rat bag MC’s are the non Conformists.

My boot heals will probably spend more time dragging the tarmac than staying on these things. Nice for a two mile bike night ride but not for any serious rides.

These look nice but Dyno Dan is right, there is not nearly enough room to keep your heel on the board.

    It’s only worth $75 and 25 cents

He, he, he, the antics of the free market.

Nobody forces anybody to do anything – RELAX AND SPEND YOUR $$$$’s on CHEAP GENERICS (that will be fraught with fitting issues) if you are so inclined.

Reminder: these are low volume items and it it gives you sticker-shock then you are not the intended market.

“non-conformist Bagger style”. HD marketing has become the masters of the oxymoron. It just keeps getting better !!

I’m sure glad this kit includes left AND right floorboards. However, the name is a tad on the meek side. Why not name ‘ em: WARLORD NUKEM BOARDS?

Just happy with (full) one’s I got on my CVO Streetglide – the Looks could sacrifice the usability.

If you want a different look buy a different bike, these look dumb and they would still look dumb at half the price!!!
